My Three Step Brothers

Y/n POV

I got off the bus and went to the door to my house. I took the spare keys out of my bag and unlocked the door.

Me: Mom? I'm ho-
Mom: Oh sweetie! Hello. How was your day?
Me: Terrible like always.
Mom: Why?
Me: I just hate school. Everyone is annoying there.
Mom: Honey, what about your friend Ahleah?
Me: I told you she moved three years ago!
Mom: Oh right.
Me: Yep.
Mom: Well you better get ready because we are going to move into your new family's house!
Me: Today?
Mom: Yes Y/n. Oh yeah I forgot! You have three siblings.
Me: Really?
Mom: Yes, 14, 13, and 12.
Me: So one is my age.
Mom: Yeah!
Me: How many boys and girls?
Mom: All boys.
Me: WHAT. We are not living with them then.
Mom: Y/n it'll be fine! Come on they are your brothers you have to love them like real siblings!
Me: Tch. Ugh.

I walked upstairs to my room and got my bags ready. I changed my clothes and fixed myself up a bit. I really didn't want ALL brothers because I would be the ONLY girl and boys just ruin EVERYTHING. I won't have a sister by my side to calm me down or anything. Instead, I'll have three annoying brothers who just play video games all the time. But I can't really say that because I don't know them, but still.

Mom: Come on Y/n, it's time to leave!
Me: Coming!

I went downstairs and met my mom. We went in the car and drove off. While leaving, I looked back at our house and sighed.

Mind: I'm gonna miss this place.

I put my headphones on and listened to music. I rested my head on the back of the seat and closed my eyes.

37 minutes later

Mom: Y/n! Wake upppp! *singing tone*

I slowly woke up and looked outside the window of the car. I saw a two story house in front of the car.

Me: Is this the house?
Mom: Yes! Now come on we have to get settled in and meet the family!

I just groaned and slowly stretched and got up from my seat.

We took our bags out of the car and knocked on their front door.

I'm so nervous right now you don't even know. I had so many questions in my head. How will my new family be like? Will my brothers be annoying? Will we have awkward conversations? Will my dad be nice? Are my brothers cu- wait what am I thinking? Oh well.

Suddenly, a tall, slender man opened the door with a wide smile on his face. I'm guessing that's my new dad.

Dad: Hello! It's so good to finally see you here at my house!
Mom: Hey Love! Oh your house is beautiful!
Dad: Why thank you.

He switched his focus to me.

Dad: Is this my one and only beautiful daughter?
Mom: *chuckle* It sure is!

I smiled a little bit to show some respect.

Dad: Well hello!
Me: Hey!
Dad: How are you?
Me: Oh I'm fine, tired.
Dad: Oh. Well I'm your new dad! Nice to meet you...?
Me: Y/n.
Dad: Y/n? That's a really nice name!
Me: Thanks!

Then my dad looked at all the bags in our hands.

Dad: Well do y'all need help with your bags?
Mom: Oh no we got it!
Dad: Nah. I got this ladies.

He took our bags and set them inside the house.

We entered our new home and looked around. It was a nice, big house with dark colors. I liked it.

I heard laughing upstairs. Maybe that was my step brothers.

Dad: Boys? Your new mom and sister is here!
