What is up my fellow lovelies! Ya boi is slowly coming back! This was just a filler chapter, expect slow updates ;-; I'm sorry... but I hope you enjoy this story that I'm actually kind of proud of!

I looked at my best friend, my coworker, my crush, Suzy. She was smiling at her husband. Did I mention I have a thing for her? Yeah. I always have. I try telling her.

  But she's married. And I don't want to ruin that. She's happy.

    She means so much to me. The only other person who know this is my good good friend, Brian. Yeah he knew right away when he met me. Never doubt a man with a PhD.

  I sighed and looked at Arin. He was also smiling. They're so happy. But Suzy is just so, right. Out of my league really. She looked at me! I smiled awkwardly and faced my computer again.

     Brian snorted.

   I shot him a dirty look and went back to editing. Soon, Suzy came over! I looked at her. "Hey Suze, what's up?", I greeted. "Y/N, you're my best friend. And you've gotta be the first to know. Arin and I got a divorce. But we're still friends."

    My heart nearly pounced out of my chest. "Just know that no matter what I'll always be here for you.", I said. She smiled. "That's why you're my best friend."

   Friend.

Right, friends. That's all we are. That's all we have been since we were in high school. During lunch Suzy, Arin, Dan, and I went out for lunch.

    I was hurting so much. Of course no one noticed. I sighed and leaned back in my chair. "What's up?", Arin asked. Suzy excused herself. "I have been friend zoned. It hurts.", I replied. "By who?", Dan asked. "Just don't make fun of me for it. Suzy." "Oh yeah, we know.

      I paused in confusion but shock. "What?" "Yeah, and Suzy knows.", Arin explained. "What?! She knows?!" "What's going on?", Suzy! I looked at her. "Suzy I'm so sorry. I didn't want to ruin your happiness. It's okay if you don't feel the same.", I said with awkward fear. She chuckled. "It's perfectly okay." "It's not. I lied to you for years. I would've asked you out but you were so happy with Arin." She froze.

     "Wait...you like me?"

  "You should know that by now. Right? That's what Dan and Arin said.", I mumbled. "We lied.", Arin whispered. I glared at him. "You guys, I was going to confess first!", Suzy complained. I looked at her in shock. "Wait really?" "Of course. I really like you Y/N and even in high school I did. Those feelings kind of vanished when Arin was around. But then I started feeling them again." She held my hands.

       "Y/N, please go out with me. I'll make you the happiest person alive."

  I blushed and relaxed. "I'm going to say yes. Because I'd have to be an idiot to say no to you.

     Dan and Arin high fived and grinned. Suzy kissed me gently. This isn't a dream, right? I pinched myself. Definitely not a dream.

I'm sorry it took me so long to get something out! I'm not gonna make any excuse but just know I love you all. And I'm very sorry I haven't been uploading :(. I hope you enjoyed this though!
