Chapter One Falling

It was July 2, and in two days it was Jeff's birthday but none of his family wanted to come and his family lived in Seattle and he lives in California He went over to his kitchen to call his friends on the home phone placed on the wall. All of Jeffs friends were going to a basketball game on his birthday and didn't invite him!! He didn't care, none of his friends were even nice to him.
He left his house to go to the grocery store and to his surprise he saw his mom, dad and two brothers.
He went over to them and said "hey mom and dad, and my bros" they were all shocked to see Jeff.
Jeff asked his parents why they came to Tulsa his parents took a while to respond. His mom said "um... We came to surprise you for your birthday"
Jeff knew they were lying and he was trying to figure out what they were actually here for. He bought groceries and cake. Jeff headed to his car and saw that he locked his keys in the car! he was so frustrated, he went back into the grocery store and bought a twenty pack of paper clips. Jeff walked over to his car and tried to pick the lock he bent down and started crying. He cried on and off for an hour, it was almost his birthday and no one cared. Then this nice man came over to him and asked if he was okay, Jeff said that he was just sad because his birthday wad coming up and no one wanted to hang out with him and he got locked out of his car. The man offered to drive him to his house to have a beer. The man said that his name was George.
