It was mid Monday morning when Luca began to feel fully sullen about his situation. He stared at the empty street before him, with trees and bushes at the sides and dried fallen autumn leaves outlining the ground. The silence that filled the forest was enough to still his mind, maybe that's why he had ran here when the realization of what he was about to do hit him, was he scared? He let the question settle in a little, prickling on the surface of his thoughts, of course not.  He is Luca Mickelson, a mere invasion of privacy will do nothing to ignite fear in him, it will take a lot more than that, much much more.
But this wasn't just an ordinary person, this was Laura he was talking about, but she claimed that wasn't her name.

He sighed, rubbing the temple of his nose, as he accidentally stepped on a thin, dried stick that has fallen from one of the tall arid trees.
For any normal being, he might just ignore it, but he wasn't close to being normal. The abrupt sound of the broken stick was enough to slice through his skull and pierce his mind, leaving a little stinging emotion there. Luca winced at that, he wanted to forget, even for a little while. He wanted to switch off whatever  feelings he held and turn off whatever sentimental thoughts that ran through his mind, just once.
But each time he tries, he drifts away, to a place where he had forgotten himself to fear and rage, turned off his sanity and killed someone's life in front of a certain red haired.
Frustrated, he blew out a long exasperated sigh. Why did he do what he did that night? How could he have let his emotions control him that much? Get the best of him?
But seeing that man, ready to eat her up and drain her off her life, it snapped something in him. All he could see then was red, rage. Right there, he wanted to kill him, show him how it felt to be drained and he did, as a result, scaring her away, letting her slip out of his fingers when he hadn't even held on to her.

But that wasn't what did it for him. If anything, it was the way she looked at him, like he was a stranger. She claimed that she had no idea who he was, but how possible is that? Was he that unrecognizable now, as his sins covered his face that much? But years of vilely living haven't touched him, and undoubtedly never will, it has been centuries now.

But why then will she deny knowing him? He thought, but the answer was there, Julian has proved it to him with his researches and computers and if that wasn't enough, last Friday night was enough conviction, only that he will never believe it, no, it was too impossible to.
But he needed to see her once more. He could remember the look of fear that was written, the tears that ran down her cheeks, the fright that shook her body. It only enkindled that need to have her in his arms once more.

But in order for that to happen, he had to get close to her.
This might only taint his image once more in her eyes, but it's worth the try isn't it?
She's worth the try, Luca thought as he walked down to his car, outside the woods and headed to Oaks Haven local university.

The lecture hall was in chaos. Apparently, it seemed the class has been cancelled for the day since Doctor Sahib hadn't showed up and it has been an hour now, which is quite odd cause he never comes late nor miss a class.
As a result, everyone has erupted into a clutter of noises and talks. Even Gemma has been rambling and flying hands around about how hectic Friday night shift was, even if Rachel has had that story a thousand times, she nodded along to her words even though they were a straight blur to her, she only wanted to have and think about some normality in her life. But she also wanted to tune her out and forget all about Friday night and what she had seen.
She could have told Gemma, but she wouldn't believe her, she will think she is crazy. Hell, she even thinks she's crazy herself, what she witnessed that night is too much impossible to be real.
She had even forgotten the drinks she had gone to get, they were all smashed to the ground to be remembered. Theresa hadn't believed her story that she was attacked by a dog, it was the best she could come up with in that moment. And since then, she hadn't been herself, and if anyone noticed, they didn't mention.
