After he left Hadvar at the exit of the cave at Helgen, R'Gaar walked down the road and found three stones. He pulled out his map that he picked up back in the cave system. He went touch one, and it started to glow. What in the gods? He noticed there was a constellation on it, the thief. He then began to feel much more stealthy. He felt like he could sneak up on anyone. What is this? I feel much stronger, and much more sneaky. But he shrugged off the feeling and continued on. He came up to a little side road. He decided to go and scope it out, since bandits were known to populate Skyrim. He climbed up a rock and got a 'cat's' eye view. He found that he was right. Ok, 1 guard. I picked up a bow in that cave system. Maybe I can get to a better vantage point. He climbed a little higher and lined up his shot. Ok, breathe in and....
He let the arrow fly and it nailed the bandit in the back of the neck. He twitched a few times and fell forward. Yes! I got him. I knew that I hadn't lost my shot! He climbed down and found that the bandit was guarding a mine entrance. He first checked the bandit though for loot. He found the bandit was wearing fur armor. Oh, I would much prefer that. But it's a guy! Oh well, here goes... He undressed the bandit and found he was a dark elf.
Ok, everything but the loin cloth. He got the armor on and dressed himself in his new fur armor. Hmmm, fits rather well. R'Gaar started checking the dark elf even further and found he had a steel dagger. Oh, a dagger. That suits my needs much more. So he dropped the sword and equipped the dagger. He continued into the mine.
Once he got in, the first thing R'Gaar noticed was the fact that there was a trap a few feet in front. Wow. This is one of the worst traps I have ever seen. He simply stepped over the tripwire and continued on. The tunnel hung a left and he found himself on a platform with stairs leading down to a shore of an underground pond. There were 2 bandits on the shore and there seemed to be a platform that came down, leading to another tunnel, but the switch wasn't in sight.
Ok. I have height advantage and the bandits are both going to sleep. Maybe if I can sneak up... He snuck up to the sleeping bandits and pulled his dagger. By Talos, this will be bloody. Here goes.... As he plunged his dagger into the bandit's neck, blood started to go and the bandit's eyes opened. They looked at R'Gaar in fear and then closed forever. Oh, oh. Oh gods. Whoo. Now for the other one. The other bandit had started to stir and R'Gaar had to finish him quickly. Let's try the eye this time.
He plunged his blade into the bandit's eye and killed him right there. Hmmm. I killed 2 men. I guess you have to do what you can to survive. I killed all those Stormcloaks in the cave system under Helgen, but that was different. I was in a rage. I couldn't control myself. Wow. How many did I kill back there? Did they deserve it, even though they're racist bastards? As R'Gaar questioned himself, the closed off portion off the bridge came down and a bandit emerged.
"Vulgamir! Kaz'Ta! The boss wants ya! Get up off your lazy asses and get in there!" R'Gaar grabbed a war axe from the bandit beside him and hurled it at the other's face. It connected, through his iron helmet. Blood ran down the front and he fell forward. Wow, did not think I had that in me! He approached the bandit and checked him for loot. Hmmm, 34 pieces of gold, a iron war hammer, much too big for me. He walked back to the other bandits he killed. Ok, 61 pieces of gold, and he used to have an iron war axe. I may keep that in case I run into anymore surprises. Now the other one. 22 pieces, but a elven dagger. I will take that, thank you. He walked to the platform that came down and walked foward. He started to sneak as he came up to a room that was caged off but had riches inside. He could also see a guard at the door of the room. Ok, let's see if I can line this shot up right. Breathe in and..... He let it fly. It sailed through the bars and nailed the bandit in the back. Unfortunately the bandit had armor on, so it did less than nothing. The bandit got up and looking for the culprit. Oh crap, he's bigger than I thought. Ok, war axe time. He pulled his axe and met the bandit as he rounded a corner.
