Chrislynn could not believe her best friend was gone. Let's go back a little and let's see their friendship.

Flashback

Chrislynn: Olivia!!!!!
Olivia: Whatttt

Olivia sat there laughing, knowing what she did.

Chrislynn: You little shit you know what you did!!!! She said laughing a little.
Olivia: I know not of what you speak of.
Chrislynn: you put vegetable oil all over my floor!!!! I fell!!
Olivia: Uhhhh Nope that wasn't me.
Chrislynn: Oh so It was Casper the ghost, huh?
Olivia: Exactly, he's so sneaky sometimes.
Chrislynn: I hate you sometimes!
Olivia: You know you love me.
Chrislynn: Sadly...

They both burst out in laughter knowing all to well they both were like sisters to each other.

Chrislynn: I'm going to get something to eat, clean my floor while I'm gone!
Olivia: Get me something?
Chrislynn: I always do.
Olivia: Thank you sista!! Love you!!!!!
Chrislynn: love you too!!

Olivia and chrislynn were roommates and Olivia was always a prankster. Chrislynn remembered laughing with her and conversations they had all to well. Like they were Yesterday.

Flashback

Chrislynn: Hey what are you doing outside, it's late and cold.
Olivia: The cold doesn't really bother me.
Chrislynn: What are you looking at?
Olivia: The Stars.
Chrislynn: Mind if I join.
Olivia: Not at all.

They sit and look at the stars for half an hour. Chrislynn looks over at Olivia who was now in tears as a shooting star flew across the sky.

Chrislynn: Olivia.

Olivia continues to look at the stars while chrislynn was focused on Olivia.

Olivia: My mom was the only one ever there for me when I was younger. My dad was always drinking, and my brother died when he was born. Me and my mom used to go on the roof to get away from my father. We would stare at the sky for hours. When a shooting star would cross the sky, she would always make up some silly story to explain why it crossed the sky. I remember one time she told me that this one star crossed because someone's mother died and it was a reminder for her kids. At the time I was 12. I looked over at her and asked if she was dying, and she told me she had cancer and was going to die in a few months. And when she finally did, I stayed on the roof forever, and every time I saw a shooting star, I couldn't help but cry. Because it reminded me of her.
Chrislynn: I'm so sorry Olivia.
Olivia: So when I look at the sky at night all I can think about is her.

They both went silent.

End of flashback

Chrislynn went home after seeing her friend in the morgue. When she got home, she saw everything that Olivia owned. She went around the apartment looking at everything, and with every little artifact or picture came a memory of Olivia.

The picture of them on the beach where they both met guys that ended up being complete assholes.

The little plant next to the deck outside, that Olivia would tend to everyday because her mother loved gardening.

Then on to her desk where she would do her homework every night.

Her closet where they would spend hours seeing what Olivia should wear for the day.

To her bed where they would talk about life for hours on end.

And finally to Olivia's key board, where she would write and play the most beautiful songs.

Chrislynn was now sobbing. She walked over to the keyboard, seeing the last song that Olivia wrote about her mom.

In remembrance of mother

That's what the song was called. But for chrislynn it was called 6.18.18 because that was the awful day, her best friend and sister died.

Chrislynn began to sing the song, because she knew that for herself, it was about Olivia. Almost as if Olivia had wrote it for her own death.

She knew Olivia had recorded the song, so she pressed a little button on the key board, as it played Olivia's recording.

Chrislynn put on one of Olivia's hoodies and laid down in Olivia's bed. Listening to Olivia's voice. Her angelic, fragile voice.
(Song above)

Our time is up
Your eyes are shut
I won't get to tell you what
I needed you to know
It's dark enough
The moonlight doesn't show
And all my love
Could never bring you home

There's no more stars to find
And I'm too far behind
And I'd love to let you go
I'd love to let you go
You're all that's on my mind
I called a thousand times
And I have to let you go
But I love you more and more than you could know

I sat alone
Awaited your reply
Was driven home
When I started to cry
I should've known
I should've said goodbye
I only hoped
I would've had more time

There's no more stars to find
And I'm too far behind
And I'd love to let you go
I'd love to let you go
You're always on my mind
And I called a thousand times
And I have to let you go
But I love you more and more than you could know

We're both too young
To live and die this way
A sunny summer day
With so much left to say
Not 21
The 18th out of pain
The day you couldn't stay
You made me wanna pray
But I think God's fake

There's no more stars to find
And I'm too far behind
And I'd love to let you go
I'd love to let you go
You're all that's on my mind
When I called a thousand times
And I have to let you go
But I love you more and more and more and more and more
More and more, more and more and more than you will ever know
You will never know
You will never know

After the song was done chrislynn could not contain the tears she was holding back. She broke, because her second half was now gone.

Chrislynn: Im so sorry Olivia. She cried I should've been there for you! I should've helped you! Please..... please just come back to me. Please..... I miss you.

Chrislynn put the song on repeat and after long hours, she cried herself to sleep thinking about Olivia.
