Andrew and Lauryn sat across from each other in the small diner, drinking their milkshakes in a comfortable silence.
Andrew hadn't planned on spending the night. He hadn't planned on admitting to Shane and the guys that he had feelings for Lauryn.
And he certainly hadn't planned on discovering that Lauryn had been in an abusive relationship.
Not that the latter changed his feelings for her. If anything, it made them stronger.
"Hey," He said, catching her attention. "I gotta tell you something,"
Lauryn braced herself for disappointment.
"Okay, whats up?"
Andrew sucked in a breath.
"I.. I really like you, Lauryn, like, more than friends
Lauryn smiled at him. "Really?"
He nodded.
Her smile grew wider. "I really like you too, Andrew," she reached across the table and took his hand in hers.
He breathed a sigh of relief. "You do?"
Lauryn giggled and nodded her head. "Andrew, I've liked you since we first met,"
His eyes widened and he smiled back at her. "Wait, really? Why didn't you say anything?"
"Why didn't you say anything?"
