Young Love

Chapter 2:

Dallas POV

I sit down in my first period classroom with Erik to my right. I was talking to him when I notice the most beautiful girl in the world walk through the door, Lacy. We make eye contact, and I can't look away, she just so pretty. I finally snap out of it, as she does to. I grab the chair to my left and pull it out, gesturing for her to sit in it. She walks over to me and has a seat. We start to talk about how fun this year was going to be because we had all the same classes and our lockers were beside each others. Then Naya and Skylär walk and sit beside Lacy. She turns around to them and starts to talk. I get a little sad and disappointed, but realize that Erik had been in here and I could go back to talking with him. Therefore I just turn around and start to talk to him about how football season was coming up soon, and how we were both gonna try out for it. Next thing you know the tardy rings, and class has started. I just couldn't pay attention though, all I could think about was how much I like Lacy, and how I should ask her out. I decided that I would ask her to a movie for her birthday on Friday and ask her to date me during the movie. Ok now that that's out of the way I just need to get her alone with me so I can see if she even wants to see a movie.

-----------------after school---------------

When I walk out to my car I see Lacey say bye to friends and open the door to her car. 'Now's my chance!' I think. I walk up to her and say,"Hey"

"Hey"

"What are you doing Friday?"

"Um I don't know, why?"

"I know it'll be your birthday and all but I was wondering if you would want to see a movie with me?"

"Yea, I would love to!"

"Ok I'll pick you up about 5:30."

"Ok sounds great." She opens her car door and hops in. She waves at me through her window, I wave back and walk back to my car. I'm so happy that she said yes. Now all I have to do is find a movie that she would like.

Lacey POV

I'm so excited, Dallas actually asked me to see a movie with him! When I get home I pull out my phone and text Naya and Skylär.

Dallas ask me to see a movie with him Friday!!!-L

We meet up in the mall, and I am dragged to almost every store in the mall until it find the perfect dress. It's black at the top, then has a thin brown belt. It then goes into a pattern with pink, black, cream, and teal. I can't believe that I'm actually going on a date with Dallas in just two day!
