Prologue

"Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday to you dear, Jennifer! Happy birthday to you!" everyone was singing to the happy girl without realising the danger being a few steps away from them. The fireworks on the cake were reaching the helium balloons which were going to explode and set on fire everything. I closed my eyes and covered my ears. The popping of the balloons was heard then I opened my eyes and saw Jennifer in flames. Her friends tried to quench it, but they didn't succeed.
I woke up and looked at the clock. Nine fifteen. I still had time. I pulled a sweater on my body and quickly got out of the window.
As I landed safely, I called Victor. I told him what was the situation and he was already on his way to get me. He didn't live far, so his car turned at the corner quickly. I did not even wait for him to stop and jumped in.

I was sitting on the VIP balcony in the club looking at a specific boy, he was my target. He was corrupted and today the shadow took his soul fully. We have to kill it before it turns into a demon.
San Ha was walking to me and I knew what she wanted.

"Don't even think about it we're not in the mansion"

"But oppaaa" she wined. I looked at her strictly. My attention was taken by the firework candles from the other side of the club.

-Shit!-I jumped down but it was late. He "accidentally" popped one of the balloons.

Instead of fire I saw... foam? No, it wasn't foam. I smelled nitrogen in the air. Someone has just used extinguisher. The demon was looking mad as he was staring at a girl holding an extinguisher, which I assume prevented the fire, my eyes met hers and I felt something but I didn't had time the shadow wasn't doing anything. That was our moment to move.

I gave the sign to San Ha to follow the plan. She got her coat off and my nose smelled the hormonal perfume. The demon immediately fell for her charms, exactly how it had to be. San Ha was seducing and guiding him to an VIP lounge perfectly. Following the plan, I quietly went after them.

I was looking into the boy's intense eyes. He was defenitly something. For the first time someone showed interest in me but as soon as though that his eyes drifted away from me looking at something. I followed his gaze, to see the most breathtaking girl. She was so beautiful, no wonder he was looking at her instead of me. She took off her coat and started dancing sexy. She didn't wave that one boy she winked at another one and walked to the VIP lodge calling him after herself. I waited a few minutes and got closer to see what was happening there. The girl was dancing on a pole and the second boy was watching with big eyes. Inside there were two more boys. My eyes widened as I saw they were holding blades. The boy didn't seem to notice them amazed at the girl. I had frozen in my place, not knowing what to do but I didn't even had the time to think. For some milliseconds the girl got out a whip and the boy was cough by his neck. The other two boys didn't wait for a second chase and killed  him. As I saw how they both stabbed him I screamed, causing one of them to look at me. It was the same man which eyes I was looking five minutes ago.

-Hey, what happened?-Victor was right next to me worried.

-Didn't you saw this?-he glanced at where I was pointing.

-An empty VIP lodge?-my eyebrows furrowed as looked there. There was no one inside the lounge.

I stormed out of the club with Victor by my side.
-Amy are you okay, did you drink something?

-No, I didn't, I am sure what I saw.

-I have heard that in clubs put drugs in the AC's just to be sure the people had a good time-now he was giving me facts.

-And how are you ok and I am not? Do we breath different air?- I snapped at him as we got into his car.
