Chapter 1

*Sam's pov*
I was sitting on the couch in my basement playing video games with my best friend. My best friend is Kian's younger sister, Brooke. I grew up with this girl, and we always got along really well. We spend a lot of time together.
A while ago, she admitted she had a crush on me. Word got out, and she was getting a lot of hate from the fans. It was really bad. I was here for her though. I'm always here for her.
I kind of like her too. I can't tell her though. I don't want to ruin our friendship and make it awkward. Plus I'm too scared to tell her. I like things how they are now.
We could be a couple. We act like it. We're just not dating. I like it like this. No titles. We're just really close friends.
Brook threw her hands in the air. "Aye you suck Potorff. You got beat by a girl," she said.
"Yeah yeah. Shut up I let you win that time," I told her.
"Your funny Sammy," she said looking up into my eyes. I rolled my eyes and smiled. I pulled her into my lap, wrapped my arms around her waist, and rested my head on her shoulder. "What do you wanna do now?" She asked?
"Uhh, I don't know, but your pretty boring so," I said with sass.
She snapped her fingers and gave me a sassy face. "Girl," she started. "I'm your queen. I am not boring."
I started laughing, then she did too.
"Okay but fo'real," I said.
She smiled and looked down. "I don't know. We could just watch Netflix or something. Or, we could play again, and I can kick your ass again," she said.
I smirked. "Oh hell no. You did not kick my ass. I let you win. You don't even know how to play," I defended.
"Yeah. That's how bad you suck," she replied smirking back.
"Yeah okay whatever," I said. "Let's just watch nexflix." I got up, and grabbed her hand, dragging her up to my bedroom. I grabbed my laptop, and we both laid on the bed. I put the computer on my lap, and put on her favorite show. She cuddled up to me, and I wrapped my arm around her. It wasnt weird. That's just how are. We're very close.
