Chapter 21

Addy's pov

I was walking down the dark street cold and sad. There was no way I was calling cam to pick me up. But who else had a car? Shawn.

*phone conversation*

Shawn: hello?

Me: hey..

Shawn: addy!!! Are you okay what happened?

Me: il tell you about it later, but um I was wondering if you could come pick me up?

Shawn: yeah of course, where are you?

Me: I'm by target

Shawn: k il see you in a bit.

*end of conversation*

Shawn's pov

After addy called me I grabbed my car keys and kissed nat on the top of her head. " il be back in a bit love you beautiful" " k bye love you too".

I hopped in the car and started to drive down the road. I was going a little past the speed limit, it was around 11:30 at night and I didn't want addy to be there any longer by herself.

The light a head of me turned red I didn't see until I smashed into the car I front of me. Everything went black.

Natalie's pov

Shawn had been gone a while and I was starting to get worried. I called him three times and they all went to voice mail. I started pacing.

" nat he's fine, he probably went to but food or something we need milk". My phone started to ring, I jumped up to answer it hoping it was Shawn.

" hello!?!" " is this Natalie wallis" " yes" " we have your boyfriend Shawn Mendes here at a the hospital, he was in a very bad car incident and is in sever condition."

" I'm on my way". I hung up the phone in shock. There was a huge knot in my stomach and I felt like puking. " nat you ok?" Cam asked " um Shawn's in the hospital from a car crash".

" what!?!?" Everyone stood up. " let's go" Nash yelled. Everything happened so fast it felt like slow motion.

We got to the hospital and I went to the front desk. " hi um I'm here for Shawn Mendes" " yes, he's in surgery at the moment you'll have to wait here till his condition improves."

I nodded and sat down. About half an hour later addy sprinted threw the door. She smashed her face on the glass door thinking it was open.

She got up casually and strutted in like nothing happened. I couldn't help but giggle a bit.

" is Shawn ok? I'm so sorry Natalie" she came up and hugged me. " he's in surgery, how did you get here?" " I took the- the... Bus" she fake gaged as she said bus.

" you hate the bus" " yes I am aware of that I didn't enjoy it. And it smelt like tacos". " well you sure do know how to make and entrance" Nash laughed.

Addy's pov

After smashing my face into the door which was really embarrassing and hurt a lot.

I sat next to Natalie and ignored cameron. I didn't want to see him or look at him. We waited about in hour till Matt walked in.

" I herd on the news, Natalie I'm so sorry" he said giving her a hug. I looked at Em she was sitting there with her arms crossed and a mad look on her face. I have to tell her.

" Em I need to talk to you for a sec". We got up and went near the cafeteria " what's up?" " please don't hate me or make a sene about this k promise".

She looked at me confused " k" " Matt kissed me". I said quickly " he did what" she raised her voice "addy.." " I didn't kiss him back I pushed him off right away".

I started to tear up I didn't want her to hate me because if this. She pulled me in for a unexpected hug.

" I'm so sorry" " addy I'm upset, but I don't hate you I'm a lot more mad at him than you, k" "k" we walked back over to everyone else and waited another hour.

Finally the doctor came out " um I need to speak with Natalie wallis" nat's face went pale. " t-thats me " she walked over to the doctor.

" Shawn is ok, but he is in a coma, I don't know how long it will be". She started to cry " okay thank you, um may we see him?" "Room 345 floor 2".

We followed her up to the room as soon as we got in Natalie broke down into tears.

" this is all my fault" I said to my myself "what was that" Natalie turned around. " you did this!?!?" She screamed at me " I-I.. N-no".

" save it addy! You know what this is your fault!!". "Nat.." Cam said trying to defend me " no cam, if she hadn't walked out like the coward she is my boyfriend wouldn't be in a fucking coma!!!".

" k that's enough!" Cam yelled back. I slowly turned my head and saw everyone else standing with their jaws open.

" you know what I'm just going to go.. " I ran out crying. " fine!! Run away like You do with everything!! Ugh I hate you!!!". I sat in the hallway crying it was my fault.

Cams pov

After addy ran out I had enough of nat. " what the hell was that this isn't her fault and you know that!"

" then Why is my boyfriend in a coma hmm. Right because she ran away and wanted attention".

" Natalie stop it that's not true It was my fault!" I yelled back. I walked out and slammed the door behind me.

" it's getting intense" Taylor whispered. I went and sat beside addy " g-go a-away" she stammered.

" addy look at me this isn't your fault k" I hugged her but she pushed me away. She was still mad.

" I don't need your help" she got up to walk away but she slipped and fell. I caught her just in time " clearly you do" I said and kissed her.

Whoa.. that got intense. but I did like that little movie moment between addy and cam. What can I say I'm A sucker for romance. So the next chapter will be up tomorrow :)
