Penny: Yes they are back by popular demand of my friends that read my fics and that go to the same school as me. (They also call fanfiction reading porn but, whatever!) They are twenty-one and twenty-two in the story.

I looked at my mother as I packed up my bags to head downtown to be with Wally. We would be auditioning for Broadway the next week.

"Who are you auditioning with? I got a partner named Mindy." Wally said putting extra emphasis on the "m" in the name.

"I have to meet him tonight his name is Derek," I said before kissing Wally who was my fiance of two years. "I'll be back later I promise," I said locking pinkies with him.

I walked to Derek's place and we practiced the dance that we had to do for the audition. He was a fast learner but all that I could think about was Wally doing this with another girl. I set the line when I walked in to meet with him that I was engaged and was not here to fool around.

The next week came around very fast and Derek and I were up first. He was in jeans and a T-shirt and I was in a jumper with heeled boots.

We walked around each other as the music started. He smiled at me as I walked to the cone of the stage and he followed before putting his arms around my waist.

"Looks like we made it look how far we've come, my baby. We mighta took the long way we knew we'd get there someday. They said 'I bet they'll never make it' but just look at us holding on. We're still together still going strong." He walked me to the center of the stage.

"You're still the one I run to the one that I belong to. You're still the one I want for life." He dipped me before spinning me out. "You're still the one I love the only one I dream of. You're still the one I kiss goodnight."

"Ain't nothin' better, we beat the odds together. I'm glad we didn't listen look at what we would be missin'. They said 'I bet they'll never make it' but just look at us holdin' on. We're still together still goin' strong. You're still the one I run to the one that I belong to. You're still the one I want for life. You're still the one I love. The only one I dream of. You're still the one I kiss good night." We glided around the stage and did each step on the precise count. I jumped up onto the bench and ran across with Derek at the end as he caught me in his arms spinning me around before putting me back down.

"You're still the one I run to the one that I belong to. You're still the one I want for life. You're still the one I love the only one I dream of. You're still the one I kiss good night. I'm so glad we made it look how far we've come, my baby." I finished and the people in the auditorium sat still and I took that as a bad sign until the director started clapping. Derek smiled at me before we took our seats. Mindy and Wally were next.

She was pitchy and had blonde perfect curls. I sat carding through my straight black hair with my fingers.

"We did great you can get the part no problem," Derek said. Derek wanted the part that was sort of a friend of the lead. Wally wanted the lead male. Mindy, according to Wally, wanted the lead so she was fighting with me over that. Mindy and Wally walked off of the stage with two people clapping over enthusiastically behind us.

Wally sat next to me and Mindy sat down next to him.

"So... you're Wally's fiance?" Mindy asked looking at me up and down. I nodded. "I thought that you would be nicer looking considering that Wally is a red-head," Mindy said snarling.

"Well, it was nice to meet you Mindy but Wally and I have to be getting home. My name is Riley Grayson-Wayne if you were wondering Mindy Simpleton." I said grabbing Wally's arm and dragging him out.

I heard footsteps behind us and saw the director coming up to us. "Wallace West and Riley Grayson-Wayne right?" He asked as we nodded. "I want you two to be my leads."
