synopsis: delilah everly was raised on a farm with her father, derrick, in new jersey until she was 18 and moved to new york to pursue photography. for as long as she could remember, delilah had the ability to manipulate the sun to do just as she wanted. whether she wanted to help or harm, the powers came in handy when it came to her life. the only people that know of her abilities are: her best friend oliver and her father. both have been sworn to secrecy so that delilah isn't taken by anyone who would exploit her or harm her.
it wasn't until she was 20 years old that she began to fully use her powers. luckily, for good. delilah used her powers when she patrolled the new york streets to save girls who were being assaulted or bothered by older men and predators. it was then that she met steven rodgers, after an outburst on the streets of brooklyn caused her to lose control of her powers, blasting him a block away and killing the man trying to attack her.
