Prologue
“Dev,” Leslie whispered fear in her voice, she was quivering behind me terrified. Darkness is everywhere the only thing that is protecting us is the single candle that I was holding, slowly dying out. Leslie is not the only who’s terrified, I was too, since I was a child I was never scared of the dark but to what I have witnessed, they were all right to be scared of the dark.
“its gonna be okay Lez, Don’t be afraid I’m here” I tried to sooth her, but it clearly failed for she only cried a lot more ,sobbing, louder and louder. Theres nothing I can do, the candle was dying, and there were no one besides us in the hallway.
“We have to keep walking Leslie, I promise we are gonn-” I stopped as the candle dies, and darkness swalows us, the only thing that I could hear was the beating of my heart and the scream of Leslie.
