"Hurry up! Hurry up!", My mother ushered Taehyung, Yoohan and I into the car. "Today's the big day!", She squealed, tucking us into the vehicle, "Graduation day!". My mother threw herself into the car, practically swan diving into the seat. She loved graduation day, a lot. Her reason: pictures. Pictures all day.

And why would she want pictures of this event, specifically?

So, she could brag about me to her ugly two-faced bitchy Facebook friends about her son being valedictorian, for two years in a row, now. She's hoping for a third year and I'm hoping for that, too. I'm going to work hard for my grades to get even higher than they already are. Although, Taehyung would disagree and tell me my grades are higher than him on weed, which of course would make me laugh.

A few days had passed from the picnic with us and our friends, and let me tell you that, after that one peaceful spring day, school has been absolute hell for all of us. It has sucked like a hoe, thirsty for a dick... Taehyung's words, not mine. And why? Exams, essays, projects, etc.

School has always been a great place for me to learn, but once all the year's final exams come in, all at the same time, I can't help but get stressed and put studying in front of everything and everybody else, as my number one priority. Unless that someone is Taehyung, I'll never put anything above Taehyung on the priority list.

Taehyung helped me through exams, too. He'd give me food and run me baths ready, whenever I forgot to take care of myself alone. Plus his kisses, encouraging words and warm hugs got me through really smoothly.

The car ride to the school was quick and we were there in no time. We walked up to the main entrance, where the principal of the school was standing next to, welcoming students and their families into the building.

"Ah! There is our valedictorian, Mister Jeon Jungkook, himself.", Our principal smiled, bowing at us as we bowed back before walking in to the school building one last time, before summer vacation.

A few steps further into the school's hallways and we instantly see Jisoo, Jin, Namjoon, Yoongi, Jimin and Hoseok talking and laughing near a waiting table. Our parents tell us that they'll go find a good seat in the audience and that they'll see us after the ceremony.

"What's up, uglies?", Taehyung insults all the students dressed in the same graduation uniforms, except for Hoseok as he has already graduated and doesn't even go to this school.

"Shut up Tae! We all know I'm rocking this uniform!", Jin poses with a cheeky smirk. "Don't forget the hat!", Jisoo points out, Jin gasping and nodding frantically. "Yes! Never forget the hat!", Jin giggled, along with Jisoo, as he places the graduation cap on his head.

"Actually, it's called a mortarboard...", I smiled. "Oh, like what the aliens ride on and send their evil minions off in?", Yoongi questioned, making Namjoon and I shake our heads in disbelief. "No Yoongi, what you're thinking of is a "motherboard" but what Jungkook was talking about was a "mortarboard". A mortarboard is just a graduation cap.", Namjoon sighed, losing braincells from having to explain everything to everyone.

"Huh....", the friend group said in realization, as a small silence followed. "It's really been a year, huh?", Hoseok chuckled, breaking the silence. "Well, a semester, yes.", I corrected, feeling like a total nerd. But that was fine, I am a total nerd and I'm proud of that. Why should I hide who I am?

"Yeah, it really is an end to an era...", Namjoon smiled, his dimples showed on his cheeks. Jisoo bit her lower lip, reflecting on what happened this semester. Not only the bad, but the good as well.

"Hey, guys. Even if it's an end to a certain era, it doesn't mean that our friendship will end or anything like that. It just means a new era is arising!", Jimin cheered us all up. "Exactly! Plus, we'll see each other in the summer at least once or twice, or you know... a billion times!", Hoseok laughed aloud. "True.", Jin nodded at Hoseok's words with a warm smile.
