Briar :

I'm staying at a friend's house.

I say A friend, because she's the only one I've got.

Jessy is the sweetest!

I didn't want to go to school but she forced me too.

"You don't have to even look at them," she said.

"At least attempt to look good," she said, when I came out of the bathroom, my hair a mess.

"Show Dylan up," she told me.

That's what got me going.

"You read-Woah! That's what I'm talking about! You're like a godesss!"

"You read-Woah! That's what I'm talking about! You're like a godesss!"

We took a selfie and she labelled it "Queens"

I had the satisfaction of seeing Dylan do a double take.

So here I am in Science, and I'm just waiting for Jessy.

Someone slides into the seat beside me.

Finally.

"Hey Jes-"

The person I had managed to avoid for the whole of today, and who I positively hated was sat beside me.

Myles :

I'm sat beside Briar because I wanna
apologise.

She deserves it.

"Hey," I whisper.

She ignores me.

"Look I'm really sorry -" I begin.

"I don't want to hear it!" she yells , making the whole class jump.

"Fighting already?" a friend of Dylan's smirks.

"Ugh! For the record, I would NEVER EVER date HIM. He's horrible and a liar."

That hurts.

I hurt her.

"So don't talk to me," she snips and moves tables.

Jessy comes in.

"BRIAR! Since it's your birthday tomorrow I thought I'd give you something now!"

That gives me an idea.

I know what to do to make Briar forgive me.

Because it really matters to me.

I watch her toss her blonde locks over her shoulder.

I can't stop watching her.

I think I... Like her.

" Hey Jess, "I say.

It's a well known fact she has a crush on me.

I smirk towards Briar, who's watching me, suspiciously.

" Do you and Briar want to come to my party tomorrow? "

" Yes! We'll be there, "she squeaks, excitedly.

" JESS! "Briar yells.

She storms out, glaring at me.
