Chapter 9

Jungkook walked back over to their table, smiling at Jimin as he put the pizza down on the table, as well as their two milkshakes. "Here." he said, and Jimin nodded a little before pouting.

"Jungkookie~ Can you get me a little thing of ranch please?" Jimin asked with his head tilted to the side.

"Yeah.. of course Jimin." Jungkook responded and hummed a little bit as he walked over to the area where the condiments were, grabbing one of the packets of ranch with a smile, walking back over to the table and giving it to Jimin before he sat down next to him again. 

"Thank you." Jimin said with a smile before he bit his lip a little bit and moved himself to sit on Jungkook's lap. "Much better~" Jimin giggled softly.

Jungkook on the other hand was just a flustered mess, his face had already turned a bright red as soon as Jimin moved. "W-well okay" He said and licked his lips a little bit before he grabbed a couple slices of pizza for himself, setting them on a plate before he started eating it slowly. Jimin blushed a bit himself as well, but was eating happily as he dipped his pizza in the ranch for each bite, and hummed happily.

"They make really good pizza here." Jimin said softly with a smile.

"Yes they do." Jungkook chuckled softly and smiled a bit. "They always put a lot of cheese on it, which is a good thing. There's never too much cheese on pizza."

"Very true. The more cheese, the better" Jimin giggled as Jungkook nodded a bit. 

"Kookie? When we're done eating, can we take a little walk in the park?" Jimin asked. "I mean.. I know it's kind of dark but it's nice outside and I love the park.. especially the fountain in the middle" 

"Yeah, of course we can. I haven't been to the park though, so you'll have to lead the way to it." Jungkook said.

"I don't mind doing that." JImin said with a smile as he turned and looked over his shoulder at Jungkook.

When the finished eating, they stood up and threw away their paper plates as well as their empty cups that had the milkshakes in them. 

"Ready to go?" Jungkook asked. Jimin nodded his head and smiled. "Yes I am." He said, and Jungkook nodded a little bit.

Jimin smiled again and blushed as he looked at Jungkook's hand, slowly reaching and taking it into his own, making the younger blush, but intertwine their fingers, and smile shyly.

The two walked outside, and it was indeed quite dark. Jungkook felt that it was a little chilly, and hummed as he took off his jacket, taking it and wrapping it around Jimin's shoulders.

Jimin blushed, but smiled brightly as he took his free hand and held onto it. "Thank you.." he said in a whisper.

"You're welcome" Jungkook responded, and the two walked to the park.

When they got to the park, Jungkook looked around a little bit and smiled. "The park is really pretty.. even at night with all of the little street lights." He said softly as Jimin nodded. 

"Yes it is.. the fountain in the prettiest part." JImin said with a giggle as he held his hand and walked over to the middle of the park, to the fountain. The fountain was lit up and running, making the peaceful sound of the water hitting the rest of the water that was below.

Jungkook smiled softly as he slowly, reluctantly let go of Jimin's hand and walked closer to the fountain, sitting on the cement circle around it with a little shiver. "This cement is cold" he chuckled softly.

"Well duh, I didn't think it'd be warm." Jimin said, making Jungkook roll his eyes a little bit and chuckle. "Yeah yeah."

Jimin nodded his head as he slowly walked over and sat next to Jungkook on the cement, smiling a little bit. Jungkook was looking at the fountain, but Jimin was focused on something else. 

Jimin had his attention on Jungkook. He was examining his features, his shape, everything about him, and not even really paying much notice to the fountain. Jungkook was a lot more eye-catching than the fountain to Jimin in this moment.

Jungkook smiled at the fountain before he turned his head and looked at Jimin. He felt his cheeks heat up and he tilted his head to the side. "Minnie? Is there something on my face?" he asked.

Jimin's only response, was him grabbing Jungkook's cheeks, leaning forward and connecting their lips without much thought.
