New school, new people

I woke up at 7 AM and I got ready for school. My mom followed me to the bus station, and told me to get off the bus when I see the school. Obviously, I know how the school looks because I looked on the internet. I calmly stepped in the bus. I sat near the window. Suddendly, someone touches my shoulder.
- Hello! - said the girl.
- Hey... Who are you?
- I’m Hailey, what’s your name? I haven’t seen you around?
- Oh... I’m Alaina. I moved here yesterday and I’m about to go to school...
- Nice to meet you, Alaina! How old are you?
- Nice to meet you too, Hailey. I’m 16 years old and I’m going to highschool.
- Me too! I hope we get in the same class. You seem very nice!
- Thanks...
I saw the school and got off the bus with Hailey. I saw a lot of people, curiously looking at me. I felt nervous. The bell rang.
The principal saw me.
- Hello! Alaina Nickerson, right?
- Yes, that’s me.
- Okay, let me show you around.
The principal showed me the school and then I got to meet my class teacher, miss Brown. After all that stuff, here comes the hardest part, meeting my classmates.
- Here, Alaina, we’re going to enter the classroom and you’re going to introduce yourself. Okay?
- Y-yes.
Miss Brown opened the door and I saw a lot of people looking at me.
- Hello, class! - said the teacher.
- Umm.. Excuse me but who is that girl? - asked someone
- That’s Alaina, our new student. She moved here yesterday. Alaina, introduce yourself.
I was literally SHAKING.
- H-hi. I’m Alaina a-and I’m 16, I have a younger b-brother Peter and I love to read books in my spare time.
- Okay, Alaina. Do you know any of the people here?
- Umm.. Yeah, I know Hailey... If she’s here?
- Yes, she is. Alaina, you can sit with Hailey. Hailey, help her and all that stuff, y’know?
- Yes, I will! - said Hailey.
So the day passed good. I met some new kind people, Ashley and Amy. Also there are popular girls, bullies and boys. Oh yeah, boys...
