Too busy to notice

~Kay's P.O.V~

Liam was holding me on the floor when one of those creepy people with animal mask over their face pulled him away.

"No don't!" He shouted out. I lay on the ground shivering not looking at Liam before I blacked out from the pain.

I opened my eyes slowly as the scene unraveled in front of me. Werewolves fighting those creepy animal things and three people firing guns. I didn't know who the hell they were but the oldest man had a sheriff badge. My eyes were darting all around the room looking for someone but it wasn't Liam. My eyes landed on the man running towards me.

"Get up, get up!" He shouted with a gun in his hand pointing it in the other direction at Kate. I listened to him but as soon as I got up the sooner I was down on the ground clutching my ankle. Derek bent down and picked me up, trying to run. We made it to his car and he lay me down on the back seat. I lay on the back seat watching Derek's back as he sped down the the road towards his loft.

"Derek?" I called.

"Yes?" He answered.

"What were those things that were attacking us?" I asked as I sat up.

"Berserkers." I wondered why he was giving me simple short answered.

"Can you tell me about them?" He griped the steering wheel.

"Not right now ok and stop with the questions." He snapped making me jump.

"Sorry." I mumbled as he drove on.

We were at Derek's loft and I was laying in Isaac's bed, one of Derek's beta's who left town. I heard a bit of commotion downstairs. So I climbed out of the bed and creeped down the spiral staircase just enough so I could see what was going on and that they couldn't see me. I watched the scene intently as Derek had his gun to a women who had helped us at the school earlier on. She quickly grabbed the gun out of his hand in a technical way. Derek looked at the ground while she was saying something. He stepped closer to her before he attacked her lips with his. I had to hold back tears for some reason. The women was too caught up in the moment to realize that Derek had the upper hand before he raised his gun up to her stomach and she pulled back a bit before saying," You cheated." He kissed her again. He picked her up as she wrapped her legs around his waist. He put her on the edge of the table which was full of guns, as she tore his shirt off. I didn't know what happen next because I ran up the stairs to Isaac's room and they were too busy to notice.
