Silence filled the entire boat I was on.
And this was the type of silence I feared.
This was the silence that made me fear any sort of noise.
And that was saying something, considering I was just on a plane with several other teens that are in juvie, and on a bus with the most rowdy people I have ever seen. It took Lucy a lot of effort to get me to not yell at everyone on there.
Yeah, I get angry easily.
Deal with it.
I looked out of the window to see that all the other contestants were there. I rolled my eyes at them through the window and sat back down in my seat.
"Time to go, Nessa."
I groaned. I legit just sat down, and now they want me to get up. My body rose from the chair and followed him up the stairs and walked on to the deck. I had a moment to close my eyes and smile in my head at how refreshing it was to just be outside for once, because most of the time I was in juvie, I always got in trouble and they never let me outside to socialize because they thought I'd hurt them.
I probably would, but still.
Then I heard Chris announce me, making me turn around and open my eyes, as I looked towards him.
"-And our contestant, the most violent juvenile delinquent I have ever seen, and still making me question why the producers wanted her on this show. . . Vanessa!"
I left a stone cold look on my face as I hopped down from the boat, making the cuffs that were on my wrists jingle. Lucy jumped down behind me, making me take a fee steps forward.
Just as he began to look for his key to take off my hand cuffs, I took the key out of my pocket and unlock it in 0.6 seconds.
Literally.
I smirked, throwing the keys and cuffs at him; he had to slightly stumble back just to catch them both.
"I'll see you in a few weeks, Luce!" I waved him off
"See ya, Nessa."
I walked over to Chris after he went back on the boat, "So, you're telling me that this is where we'll be staying?"
"Correct," Chris replied.
I shrugged, "It won't be as bad as me being in solitary confinement." I took the hair tie on my wrist, and put my hair up into a ponytail and walked to the back of where the others were standing, plopping my bag down where the others were.
"First things first," Chris began, "We need a group photo for the promos. Everyone on the end of the dock."
All of us began to walk to the end of the dock as Chris jumped onto a boat that was still sitting at the end of the dock, while he was holding a camera that look old a fuckin' dirt.
"Wait, where the fuck did he get a camera from. What — did he just pull it out of his ass?" I said to, who I think was, Lashawna, making her laugh. I smirked as I took of the jacket I was wearing and tied it around my waist. I sat on the dock between Katie and Courtney, and sat with my legs apart, and held up my middle finger.
I'm gonna end up being the reason why this show isn't rated pg.
Now was the time for Chris to take the picture:
"Okay, one, two, three. . ."
He paused for a moment.
"Oops! Okay, forgot the lens cap!"
Chris took the lens cap off of his old ass camera by clicking a button.
"Okay, hold that pose. Okay, one, two— oh, no, wait. Card's full. Hand on."
