Wasn't this supposed to be a normal day?!?!
They all had their mouths agape as they looked at the person in front of them who appeared in a puff of smoke. His hair silver with a streak of gold and his clothes were similar to that of a noble during the Victorian Era. He slowly opened his mouth and their anticipation began to build up...
"Do you believe in the otherworld?"
"Yes!"
The black-haired girl, whose eyes were the only ones sparkling in the midst of the quiet and tension-filled room, raised her hand in response to the question.
"Are you willing to go there?"
"Absolutely!"
Her classmates looked at both of them questioningly. What are they talking about? is probably what's going through their heads right now as she continued to smile at the man. The man lifted his hand up and as the room stood still, a tiger suddenly appeared behind the class.
The whole class panicked and yet they couldn't move, no, rather... they wouldn't move. They fear that if they move, the tiger would pounce on them and eat them alive. The tiger licked his paw, showing the class his claws as he looked at them mockingly.
"Prove it. Approach the White Tiger. If what you say is true, you will live but if it is false, then he will devour you. Now might be the time to think about your answer so you will live anothe-"
"Is he the one from the legends?"
The class all looked at her wide-eyed as she was already beside the White Tiger. She looked at the man again, her eyes filled with expectations. "Is he? Is he? Is he?"
"Y-yes..."
She squealed and squished her cheeks. "May I pet him? Please?" She asked as if begging to let her pet the tiger. "If he will allow," the man answered, already giving up on understanding this girl.
"May I pet you Mr. White Tiger?"
She looked at the White Tiger's eyes as she lifted her hand, letting the White Tiger decide if he will allow her. The White Tiger blinked twice before he nudged his head at her hand. Trying not to squeal again, she hugged the White Tiger and pet his head. "So fwufffffy~" she purred along with the White Tiger while she scratched his chin.
The whole class, even the man, was amazed at the scene in front of them. "Interesting..." the man mumbled as he walked towards the two. He knelt down and placed his hand on the girl's chin, making her face him. "Indeed. You must be what's pulled me into this place."
The girl lightly blushed at the thought that she's locking eyes with such a handsome man. His gray eyes captivating her black ones, the girl slowly leaned towards the man. As if preventing something from happening, the White Tiger pulled the girl away by biting the collar of her clothes. Realizing what almost happened, the girl blushed more and the man cleared his throat. "Thanks, Sil," the man smiled at the White Tiger.
"Sil? Is his name Silver?" the girl asked, back to her normal self as she rubbed her face against Sil. The man looked surprised for a bit and then nodded as he stood up and walked back to the front of the class. "Now let me ask you again. Do you want to go to the otherworld, Ms. Valerie?" he asked as he raised both of his arms and showed a hologram of what seems like another world for it showed elves and beasts.
As the girl was about to answer, she stopped and thought for a moment. "Wait, how did you know my name?!" she suddenly exclaimed in surprise. Thinking about all the absurd things that just happened, you would think that why would she be surprised now.
"Of course, I know you. Valerie Cleo, the girl who was always reading stories about another world. A girl who possesses a great imagination and a vivid daydreamer. And that may just be the reason why I was drawn into you." Valerie blushed at what she heard, to which the man just smiled. "So your answer?"
"Yes!" Valerie happily agreed to the man. "So who do you want to come with?" the man asked, "You can choose four more people to come with you."
"Sia?" Valerie immediately looked at her friend Alessia with a twinkle in her eyes. "Let's go?" Valerie asked and Alessia hesitatingly nod. "And Matt?" Valerie said as she put her hand out.
"What? Why me?" Matthew asked, surprised. "Don't you have a lot of people you're close with?" he asked again, looking at Valerie's group of friends. "I'm not really sure either but I have this gut feeling that we need you in our group. And I greatly believe in your abilities," she answered confidently. Dragged along the mood, he also agreed in coming with them.
"Now for the last two... May I choose someone who's in a different school?" Valerie asked. "I figured you'd ask that. And are these the two people you're planning to ask?" the man answered and then showed the picture of two girls. "Yep! Lili and Bella," she grinned. "Then they're already waiting for you on the other side. So, shall we go?" the man asked as he raised his hand. "Yes," the three of them answered.
