Aleks's P.O.V.
It's been about a month and a half since Sasha came to live with us, and it's been pure bliss. She's such a sweet girl, I will never understand why anyone would ever dislike her. She's polite, she cleans the house continuously even though we tell her to relax and have some fun, and she gets along great with the guys. Oh about them, they were really surprised when we brought Sasha into the office and introduced her as our daughter. They were also kinda upset because we didn't tell them sooner, but once they started talking to her and everyone got to know her, everything was amazing. She now refers to all the guys as 'Uncle _______' whenever she sees them. Sasha was ecstatic when she got to meet everyone. She had been a fan of us for years and when she got to meet everyone...well lets just say I think everyone else in Colorado new she was excited to, with the amount of loud squealing going on. I'm happy for her though. I'm happy that Kevin and I are the ones to give this wonderful girl a home, love, a life, and happiness.
Kevin's P.O.V.
"Aleks~" I sing songed from the kitchen. "Kevin~" I heard him sing back mockingly. I walked into the living room and seen Aleks lounged on the couch, his eyes glued to his phone.
"What are we gonna do today babe?" I asked. Aleks set his phone down beside him and turned his head towards me.
"I don't know, what do you want to do?"
"Well Sasha still needs some more clothes and I haven't had my morning coffee yet so, mall to look around and stop at Starbucks on the way through?" I proposed. "Yeah sure, I could go for a coffee"
Aleks's P.O.V.
"Sasha!" I called down the stairs to her bedroom.
"Yeah, Papa?" She called back.
"Do you want to go to the mall with Dad and I?" I asked
"Starbucks?"
"Yes Sasha, Starbucks"
"Coming!"
I laughed to myself and walked towards mine and Kevin's bedroom. She's just as caffeine addicted as the both of us. I love her, so does Kevin. We regret not going through with adopting earlier than we did. We could have gotten her out of there sooner... But we have her now, she's happy now, that's what matters.
I grabbed my purple twitch sweater out of our closet and my wallet off the dresser. I took Kevin's wallet too, handing it to him when we I got out to the living room where Sasha and Kevin were waiting for me.
Kevin's P.O.V
I parked the car in the parking lot of the mall and Aleks stepped out of the car, Sasha and I following quickly after. "So where are we going first?" Sasha asked. "I don't know, where do you want to go first? Wait, let me guess, Starbucks?" Aleks asked. I saw the small smile spread across her face. "Well duh" She said. I chucked softly, leading the way to the front doors of the mall.
Time skip~~~~~~~
We were on our way out of the mall, Aleks and I each carrying a few bags of new clothing, some of it Sasha's, some Aleks's. And one very small bag in my right pocket, containing a special present for Aleks I picked up while he was distracted in another store with Sasha. I was busy thinking about what was in my pocket that I didn't realize the car quickly coming around the corner, or the fact that Aleks didn't see it either.
