A/N: Heyyy 🙋

“What in the actual fuck is this?” I groan in frustration. This is not supposed to happen anymore and no, I won’t do camping again.

I got out of bed and hastily put on the next available shirt I saw. I grabbed Forth’s wallet, phone, and what looked like car keys from his bedside table.

I immediately went out of his dorm room, locked the door and went down the parking lot. Good thing the engineering dorms have the same layout as our dorm.

Well, to my dismay there are a lot of cars in the parking area and I have no idea which one is Forth’s. I only see him in his bike most of the time. So, I blindly pressed the remote key and hoped one of them beeps. And luckily, one did. My jaw dropped after seeing his car, a sleek black Audi. This guy is really full of surprises. But there’s no time to waste to  gawk at it. I went in and drove to my dorm.

After parking, I ran to my dorm room and knocked loudly. The door was surprisingly opened immediately, by Forth inside me, I mean my body. Who, was weirdly calm and composed contrary to my panicked self.

“Is that coffee?” I asked him incredulously.

“Yeah,” he said.

I pushed him inside so I can go in.

“Are you alright- did you bump my head or something?” I asked loudly. “We’re switched again! In case you didn’t notice.”

I waved my hand back and forth between us.

“I know,” he said.

“So? What now? Don’t tell me we’re going back to the mountain,” I half-moaned half-cried. “I definitely don’t want to do it all over again, Forth!”

He sighed deeply. “First, calm down Beam. It looked like you just woke up.”

He pointed to my couch, so I sat down.

“First, we’re not going back. Heck, I’m in your body, and it clearly is not the mountaineering type.”

I glared at him for his insult, which he completely ignored.

“Second, your damn foot is still a problem. Though, I think it’s healing now. Third, I have a feeling this swapping will never end unless we do something or wait for something.”

“What do you mean?” I have no idea what he's saying.

“I guess we have to let it be. Wait it out. The grandpa mentioned something about eight weeks,” he explained.

“Eight weeks?” I said. “That’s like… two months.”

“I know. But we have nothing. Let’s just play pretend while we look for possible solutions,” he said.

“Ughh,” I groaned and laid my head on the couch’s backrest.

Forth sat beside me and just lets out a deep frustrated breath.

“Same, Beam, same,” he said.

We stay quiet for a while, both in deep thoughts. Until Forth sniffed and coughed.

“Are you wearing the shirt I wore yesterday? You stink.” he said while crunching his nose. “Forth does not smell, Beam. So better remember that.”

I sniffed the shirt. Well, a lot of sweating was involved in yesterday’s adventure.

“It’s not that bad though,” I said but immediately took off the shirt.

I went to my closet and reached for a yellow shirt which I think will fit his body.

“Oh no you don’t.” Forth immediately grabbed the shirt.

“What?” I asked.

“I don’t wear yellow, never ever,” he said.

I just stared at him while he took off the gray shirt he’s wearing, revealing my pale upper body.

“Wear this instead,” he offered the gray shirt.

What the… we may have switched bodies, but he certainly cannot order me around, especially on things I want to do, or wear, in this case.

“No,” I said as I grabbed the yellow shirt. He was holding it tightly so I grabbed more forcefully.

“No, Beam,” he said in a firm tone.

“Just let go, Forth, you’re ruining my shirt!” I can see the fabric now stretching taut. Goodness, I just bought it last month.

“Why are you so stubborn?” he asked still not letting go until we’re in a tug-of-war. My poor shirt.

“I want to wear… this… shirt…” I said giving my all in one forceful pull.

Again, underestimating Forth’s strength, I was able to drag the shirt and Forth together. Him losing his balance and like a slow-mo scene, we both toppled and fell on the couch.

“Oof,” I grimaced. Forth, I mean myself, was now lying on top of me, his chin hitting my collarbone and it hurt, like a lot.

Suddenly, the door opened and…

“Beam, we brought you porridge for breakfast. Your foot might be hurting-”

It was Phana, and behind him was Kit. Both stopped in their tracks, with both mouths open.

Forth and I lay frozen, until we realized the position we’re in. Lying on the couch, in a promiscuous position, both shirtless.

“What-” Kit opened his mouth.

I pushed Forth off me and jumped out of the couch. “Nonono… it’s not what it looks like!”

“What does it looks like, Forth,” asked Phana.

“You’re both topless,” Kit raised his brows. “You’re just wearing boxers, Forth.”

Kit nodded towards my bottom. Oh, shit. I only grabbed a shirt and completely forgot to wear pants. So it means I drove all the way to my dorm just wearing underwear. Wow.

“I...uh...” I stammered. How do I explain this? I look at Forth, and he was closing his eyes shut. Clearly racking his brain.

Both Kit and Phana looked at him too.

“Beam?” Phana called him.

Forth let’s out a deep breath before saying…

“We’re…” he said slowly. “Beam, no Forth and I…”

“What?” Phana and Kit asked in unison.

“We’re dating,”

The room fell silent.
