Hello! Welcome back to this years game! It's so nice of you to join me on this wonderful evening! In this episode, we will be diving into the 'back-story' of how each of our players was chosen. I have taken the time to create this so that you get a better understanding of the characters. Enjoy!
Ah yes, our first two players: Ashlyn "Ace" Carlisle and Maxwell "M-Dog" Johnson. Best friends for years! By far my favorite two. Such great chemistry, I couldn't resist!
"Calm down M-Dog. You'll be fine. It's not like it's some random stranger!"
But it was, in fact, a random stranger. Well, practically. She had completely changed from who she was nearly 3 years ago. Her hair was longer, and a dark brown, almost black. She had her hair in two buns on either side of her head and walked with her head down. Where was that confident girl he talked with on the phone just a few months before?
He probably looked silly, standing in the airport talking to himself. But he didn't care. This was his best friend he was talking about. The girl he grew up with, but left alone when he went off to college. The one girl he swore up and down he'd never hurt, yet left her alone as soon as he graduated.
As she walked closer, she looked up and began to scan the crowed. He held up the sign he had made with her name on it:
Her eyes land on the sign and she breaks into a grin. She runs over to him and he hugs her tightly, not wanting to let go. "Max you idiot!" He smiles and releases his grip on her. "Let go get your stuff and get you to my house, yeah? Gotta get you settled in." She smiles and he wraps his arm around her shoulder and they walk to the baggage claim.
That's my favorite! Aren't they just so cute?! Well, that was Ashlyn and Maxwell, two of my four favorite players this year.
Now, let me introduce you to the schools "power duo": Jake "the Bullet" Addams and Olivia Jenkens. Now, Jake is the captain of the football team. Everybody loves him. And Olivia is a cheerleader. She is also head over heels for Jake. He doesn't see this, and will soon have his eye on someone else. But I'm getting ahead of myself. Let's jump right into it, shall we?
And so, Olivia stood on the doorstep of one Jake Addams. She clutched her messenger bag tightly and knocked. She held her breath, and lets out a deep breath. She looks up and smiles as the door opens. "Hiya Jake! Thanks for agreeing to help me with this." He looks up from his phone and smiles. "Yeah, no problem." He pauses and checks his watch. "Oh! Come on in." He steps to the side and she walks in. "Sorry about that. My sister will be here with her kids in about 15 minutes, and I was trying to make sure I had everything in order."
She nods and follows him into the living room, taking in the many pictures on the walls. She sits down and he walks into what she assumes is the kitchen, and takes out her things. After a few minutes, the doorbell rings and Jake's face lights up and he stands, walking to the door. The door opens and in come two small children. One a girl with her deep red hair in two braids, and a boy with messy unkempt blond hair.
"Hey guys!" He looks over at the woman who had walked in behind them and gives her a hug. "I've go burgers and fries on the way right now, so they will be fed. I have movies set up in the den as well." She smiles and nods. "Thanks Jake. You are a life saver." He shrugs, waving his hand. "No big deal." She nods and turns, closing the door behind her. "Now!" Jake turns, a smile on his face, "Let the fun begin!"
And there we have Olivia Jenkens and Jake Addams. They're cute, no? Got a bit of awkward tension between them, but that's okay!
Now, let us move on to the fifth and my personal favorite loner, Miles "S.B." Rhyland. Yes, her is kind of the 'odd man out', given there are five of them, but that is all part of the game! I hope you enjoy this bit of Miles!
As Miles walked through the crowds of people, he kept his eyes open for Jackson, the substitute for a player that was missing. He walked up to the fence, his camera around his neck, and leans forward. "Hello dear football team. Good luck tonight. I hear that the other team is good, but I have full confidence you can beat them." He smiles and snaps a picture before walking to "his post" as photographer for the game.
At half-time, he takes a break and walks over to the concession booth. When he gets to the front, he comes face to face with a girl he had never seen before. "Oh. Hello. Are you new?"
She she gives a quick nod and smiles. "What can I get you, S.B.?"
He blinked, confused. "Uh, hotdog chips and a soda, please." She nods and he hands her the money.
"Hey, uh, why'd you call me 'S.B.'? That's not my name." She shrugs. "You look like a skater guy. 'S.B.', as in 'skater boy'."
He nods and takes his food. "Uh, thanks. See you around?" She nods and turns to the next person in line. Miles walks away, confused, and watched tge rest of the game fron the stands.Wow! What a time, huh? Can't believe that these five people were chosen, given two of them have intense chemistry, one of them is a lone wolf, and the other two are extremely awkward with each other.
Well, that's it for this episode. Don't forget to vote for your favorite player, and who you think that might be best with!
See you lovely people next time.
