Optimus x Injured Female Arcanine Reader

The team was in a state of panic at the current moment. Y/n, who had been a member of the team ever since the war started, had been captured on the last mission they had. Even though she was not fully predacon, she had decided to try out a new form, which was based on the creature called a pokemon, more specifically, Arcanine. Y/n thought that the design was cool due to the dog and tiger like features it seemed to be a mix of. Anyway, the team was currently trying to track their signal, but was currently having no luck. It wasn't until later on that Ratchet got a hit. "Optimus, I think I found her!" he shouted. "Lock onto her coordinates and open a groundbridge. Autobots, we are to save Y/n as quickly as possible. Roll out!" the leader said as Ratchet opened a groundbridge.

The team quickly transforms and races through the groundbridge, ending up in a hallway of the Nemesis. The groundbridge closes behind them as they transform back and look around. "Autobots, we must find Y/n and leave before the Decepticons discover our presences." Optimus states as he readies his weapons, making the others activate theirs as well. The team sneaks around the halls, taking out any Vehicons without causing too much noise surprisingly. They soon hear roars of pain from their fellow comrade, making their anger grow even more, especially Optimus'. He would never admit it, but he cares about Y/n too much to let anything bad happen to her. Ever since she had saved him and his team from a trap set by the cons, he was grateful that she had joined their side.

Arcee was about to charge in toward the brig where they kept their team member at, but one look from Optimus stopped that. "We must move as stealthily as we can. Who knows how many decepticons Megatron has in there." he quietly tells them, earning nods from each bot. They each make their way to the cell where Y/n was being kept at, making sure to not alert whoever was in there. Now you would think that the plan would go smoothly, right? Well you are wrong, my friend. Unfortunally the alarm on the ship started to go off, meaning that a certain third in command had found them on the cameras. This caused the team to just quickly bust out their friend as quickly as they could while taking out any cons that came to fight. Optimus was shocked at the state that his crush, yes, crush, was in. She was littered in slash marks and dents, which had energon leaking from a few open wounds. She was too weak to walk on her own, which caused him to pick her up bridal style as he commed for a groundbridge.

Once the team was back at base, Y/n was quickly taken to the medbay to be treated for her injuries. It would be a couple hours before she was deemed stable enough to not be constantly monitored. Optimus was quick to go to her side, gently taking her servo in his. "Are you alright, Y/n? I apologize for not rescuing you sooner." The femme just chuckles weakly as she squeezes his servo with a faint smile and blush. "It's alright Optimus. I'm fine, and you don't need to apologize." she reassures the worried mech. "I.... have a confession... Y/n." This caused the femme to raise an optical ridge and tilt her helm, silently telling him to go on. "I believe I have... fallen for you. I understand if you do not return the gesture, Y/n." Optimus said, becoming a bit saddened at the end. Y/n couldn't believe she was hearing this. The, Optimus Prime, had just confessed in falling in love with her? She didn't think it was real until she heard the hurt in his voice. "Oh Optimus... I must admit, I didn't think you'd fall in love again after what happened with Elita." the femme said sadly. She had been good friends with Elita since before the war. Ever since her death, Y/n wanted nothing more than to get revenge for her friend's death. "However, I do know that she would be happy that you had moved on." she said with a small smile, getting one from the prime as a response. "But, I will tell you this. I do return the feelings, Optimus. I have ever since I saved your team back on Cybertron." This caused the prime to become speechless, but was internally happy that the femme loved him to. Now to just let her recover, that way he could properly take her out, on what Miko called a 'date'.
