It was a calm Saturday afternoon. I thought to myself while I blew a piece of my hair out of my face. Another boring day. There's not much to really do around my house. I live in a small neighborhood far from the city. It's just me and my Aunt Laura, she's my dad's older sister. I can remember she used to tell me that one day I'll be taller than her just like my dad. She used to come over almost every day to help out my dad. You see he had me when he was 17 and my mom left shortly after I was born. My dad always told me they were in love but my mom's parents didn't like the Idea of their daughter ruining her life by keeping me. Aunt Laura says otherwise: my mom was a gold digging slut. Which was shocking because she never calls people names when they're not around.

"There's nothing to do in this house!" I yelled as I rolled off of my bed. No response, of course - that's how dead this place is. After sitting on the floor for a minute I got up and walked over to my mirror.

"Mirror Mirror on the wall who's the boredest of them all," I said as I stuck my tongue out at the mirror.

"Clearly it's you that's the boredest but I believe I'm a close second." A voice said behind me.

"What?! Who's there?" I say while I reach for my bat.

"There's no need for that. You can't hurt me. Turn around." The voice replies after laughing I looked into my mirror to see a guy around my age standing behind me. He's just as tall as I am same light brown hair and blue eyes. He almost looks like me but also doesn't. He even has the same scar on his left eyebrow just like me. I turn around so my backs facing the mirror and he's not there.

"Wait where did you go?" I questioned turning around and he's still standing there in the mirror.

"I never left," he said while falling on my bed in the reflection.

"Am I hallucinating? Yea I must be this is insane." I said rubbing my eyes.

"Nah you're not hallucinating I'm here and I'm real."

"If you're real then why can I only see you in the mirror?" I said looking behind me then back at the mirror.

"The answer to that doesn't matter what matters is are you still bored?" The man said.

"I guess not? I'm more confused than anything"

"Jackson I'm home!" Aunt Laura yelled.

"This is where I say goodbye Jack" he disappeared from the mirror.

"Wait no comeback. What's your name?" I said as Aunt Laura walked into my room.

"Who you talking to hun?" She asked with a confused look on her face.

"Oh uh, I was running lines for a presentation on uh a movie. That was a quote," I said with a shaky voice hoping she believes me.
