A/N Okay so I know I haven't updated in a while, but I just didn't know what to write and I didn't want to put out crappy material. Overall I am really happy with the way this chapter went. I know the begining is a little slow but if you just bear with it, it get's better I promise.

*ONE WEEK LATER*

*Scarlette's POV*

It had  been a very long week. Between getting everything ready for California and all the stress of getting my audition videos sent out, I was ready to just curl up in a ball and sleep for the next three days. Not to mention the fact that I had ruined any chance of friendship with Taylor.

At first I had tried to get Taylor to talk to me. After two days of him not texting me back he tweeted,

Taylor Caniff

@taylorcaniff

omg stop texting me dont you get the hint i dont want to talk to you

Once I saw that I knew that all hope was lost. He wanted nothing to do with me, because I lied to him. He was right. I should've just told him. I subtweeted him back, although I doubt he saw it.

I'm sorry. You're right. I should've been honest. I'll leave you alone now.

I looked at the time, my flight leaves in three hours. The airport was only about a twenty minute drive from my house, so I wasn't in a big hurry.

I walked out of my bedroom into the kitchen, where Clover was with my parents.  My mom looked up when I walked in.

"Do you have everything packed?" I nodded. I'd started packing last week. I was just ready to get out of this town.

 "Your flight leaves at three."

"I know mom."

"Don't get an attitude with me young lady." I just rolled my eyes and looked at my dad.

"You're sure you want to do this?" He asked me for the billionth time. I nodded.

"Yes dad. This is my chance and I'm going to take it."

We spent the rest of our time at the house, triple checking that we had everything packed. My mom kept nagging me about the things I didn't want to take. Finally I looked at the clock and noticed that it was time to leave. Me and Clover got to the airport at 2:30.  We went through security and then sat and waited for our flight to board.

"I can't believe that I'm doing this. I'm so excited and scared at the same time," I gushed, unable to hold in my excitement.

"Yeah its great," Clover mumbled. I looked over at her and rolled my eyes.

"You could at least pretend to be excited for me. I mean come on, you're coming with me."

"Yeah for two weeks, and then I'll go home where you'll forget all about me. I don't even get why I'm coming."

"Would you stop it with the whole I'm going to forget all about you bullshit? Because that's what it is, bullshit. And you're coming with me because you're my best friend and you're going to help me settle into my apartment and make the transition easier."

"Please, if you didn't get in that fight with Taylor you wouldn't even need me."

"What the hell does Taylor have to do with this? This is about you and your insecurities. You're my best friend I can't just forget about you."
