I couldn't believe that Laina thought her and I were in a relationship.

After we slept together, she had suggested we go out on a date sometime and that she should stay over but I explained to her how that wouldn't work because we had tried dating before and it didn't feel right. Then we became friends with benefits but now, I'm not sure if that's what we should be if she's gonna be getting all attached to me and shit.

Besides, I'm not a relationship kind of guy and if she thought that from me returning after being gone for a few months was gonna change me into one of those then she is gonna be really disappointed.

After waking myself up a little more, took a shower and got dressed, I went out to the kitchen to grab some coffee when I see a girl with her hair in a messy bun wearing a long t shirt and booty shorts standing in front of the coffee maker.

Then it quickly hit me, the waitress from last night, she's staying here?

She turns around and jumps a little from being startled after seeing me.

"Holy shit! You scared me." She says.

"My bad." I tell her with my hands up in surrender and trying not to laugh.

"I'm sorry if I woke you." She begins while trying to pull the already almost-to-her-knees already long shirt down some more.

"It's cool. Just wanted some coffee." I smile a little.

I grab a mug from the cupboard and we both stand in the kitchen a couple feet from each other, looking at the coffee pot and waiting for it to finish while awkward silence entertains us. That is, until she breaks it.

"Normally I'm the only one up this early." She says.

"Yeah." I chuckle. "My dad and sister aren't really early morning people. I guess I got that from my mom."

"Yeah I think I do to." She says.

We share another moment of silence until I was getting ready to say something and then that's when the coffee maker started to beep to let us know it was done.

I then gestured with my hand for her to go first.

"Ladies first." I smirked.

"Thank you." She smiles.

After she pours herself some coffee, she then puts in some cream and sugar and ends up going back into her bedroom. Damn, now I'm gonna be thinking about her in her long tshirt and booty shorts all day long probably.

Right when I finish up getting some coffee and begin drinking it, I get a text from one of the guys saying that the man we are going to be doing business with soon has decided to meet with us and this was perfect because he was a hard one to negotiate with and also was hard to even get a meeting with.

He is a mob leader and will be the first one I have ever done business with that's in the mafia. My dad doesn't know because I know he'd be really pissed off as he doesn't know the kind of business I really do. Such as selling guns illegally among other things. He thinks I just own a couple of bars and do some construction on the side, that are actually legal, well, most of the time.

He always warned me about being careful in what kind of business I do, who with and the mafia was one of the ones he preferred I stayed away from the most. They were the most dangerous he claimed.

I have always wanted to have my own business and I feel that this guy is the last chance I have in having a huge payout in the end to where me and the club can go back to just being a big family that does business (legal) ones together.

We never should have started doing things like this when we all first got together and started this bikers club. What can I say, I was young and dumb and needed to help out my dad and sister to take care of them since the diner wasn't making enough and dad was struggling a lot. And I sure as hell wasn't going to be working at the diner for the rest of my life.

I next grab the keys to my bike and start heading over towards the clubhouse to meet up with the man.

When I got to the clubhouse everyone seemed to have been hanging out and as soon as I get into the office, I see Neko is already there along with a couple of men who were dressed in suits and there was one who stood out the most and looked to be the boss, although I did picture the 'boss' a little older.

"Sorry, I didn't know you were already here Mr. Carusso." I began as I took a seat behind the desk.

"Let me stop you there. First of all, I'm not Mr. Carusso, I'm his right hand man, Mr. Turro. So that's what you can call me. Second of all, Mr. Carusso won't be here today as he is busy dealing with other matters at the moment." He begins.

"Well no offense and no disrespect but I don't do the whole messenger thing especially before meeting with the ACTUAL person I am doing business with." I explain to him and show him that I'm not intimidated.

"That's how this will go, take it or leave it." He says.

"Fine. Then I will leave it." I tell him, calling his bluff.

"You do realize that once I walk out this door, the deal will be off?!" He threatens.

"Yes I do. And I am truly sorry for whatever he has going on and is dealing with at the moment however, I will not make a deal until I meet him face to face." I assure him.

I next stand up as I can tell this meeting is already over.

He then stands up as well, looks at me and then smirks.

"I like your confidence. So I'll tell you what. Why don't I talk with my boss and see if we can arrange some place to meet up at?!" The guy suggests.

"Alright." I agreed.

We then said goodbye and he left.

"Well, that was interesting." Neko tries to joke.

"Yeah. He had some nerve." I reply.

So far, I don't care who this Carusso is but his first impression isn't good and first impressions are everything to me.
