I present to you... *drum roll* A short story based off of the Hunger Games! It's from the perspective of a boy who loved Arabella while she was alive. He's writing about his experiences with her after she's gone. I'll try to add more parts taking place before or after this part but for now this is it. The song for this one is Say Something by A Great Big World and Christina Aguilera. Play the song when I tell you to for the best scene! I hope you guys enjoy this!

"I have to." She whispered. "I have to do this Kyle."
"Elle, please! I love you!" I begged, my eyes filled with tears. "You don't have to do anything! Let me do it instead!"
"I love you too Kyle." She smiled sadly. "Thank you for giving me something to die for."
Arabella Thea Loxe, where to begin... I should probably write her nickname which she preferred, Elle. If you called her Elle then you didn't have much longer to live. I'm joking... Sort of. I guess I can start with how she looks, besides beautiful. She has these piercing blue eyes that seem cold when put this way but face to face, they're always sparkling with happiness. It's hard for me to describe her hair in any other way than like a commercial. You know, one of those hair colour ones with the super fake shiny hair? Yeah that's what her's looks like.
I guess you might want to know the actual point behind this. It's hard to write now but she would've wanted me to spread this to everyone. Elle was always so happy, always making me smile and always mine. And not in a slavery way but her heart was mine and mine was hers. I loved Arabella Loxe more than anything or anyone else in existence. Now she's gone. How you might ask, well that's the story. The story of the worst day of my life.

"Kyle Peterson from district 4 everybody!" I opened my eyes and stepped out onto the stage for my interview. "Kyle! Thank you for joining us!" Caesar greeted me warmly. Like I had a choice. I thought to myself bitterly. "My pleasure Caesar!" I responded enthusiastically as I put on a grin for the camera.
"So what do you think of the Capitol so far?"
"It's very different." I answered honestly after a pause.
"A good different or a bad different?"
"I don't know. It's just different." I shrugged.
"Still a bit overwhelming?" He joked.
"Something like that yeah."
"I understand. Now, would you think of yourself as one of the better tributes in the game?"
"Fighting wise? No." I shook my head.
"So what's going to help keep you alive?" He asked curiously.
"My allies. Not in the way of dying for me or anything like that. But team work." I said quickly. "I think team work will help get me to the end."
"Not our typical tribute then from district four then." Caesar remarked to the audience.
"I'm not and I don't plan on becoming one either."
"What do you mean by that?"
"People expect us to want to kill but I never could do it. I just couldn't, I'd be too guilty afterwards. I'm not your typical tribute."
"Very interesting. Thank you for being so honest with us Kyle."
"My pleasure Caesar." I walked off the stage and was ushered away to wait. I sat there for most of the contestants until she came on. I instantly paid more attention just because she was beautiful. In a flowing sky blue gown with her blonde hair just falling over her shoulders how could I not stare?
