Night Dreams

Part 5

Continuing from previous part

Sanskar see same burning man standing behind his smirking 😏

Sanskar scream at his mother saying " maa maa look behind you! He is there maa behind you "

Brunt man took out a big sliver scissor ✂️ and aim it on annu about to stabb her when sanskar jump off the sofa to hold burnt man hand and save his mother when annu say tapping on sanskar shoulder " sanskar sanskar wake up sanskar wake up !! "

Sanskar jerked open his eyes and scan around nervously to find any trance of that burnt figure but saw nothing.

Annu worriedly " sanskar you again scream in sleep saying 'look behind maa look behind' and that's the problem I'm telling you but you slept on sofa " .

Sanskar wipe off his forehead sweat and ask " but maa someone was behind you when you were telling me about my screaming in night I saw it maa " .

Annu shoke her head negatively say " no sanskar you saw a dream , you didn't even listened what I was saying cause the moment you sat on sofa you fall asleep and my sentence left incomplete on I heard your screams! You slept so quickly in deep sleep and in next minute you start screaming so loudly 😯 what you saw in your dream sanskar tell me , tell me everything from when you start getting these dreams ? Please tell me " .

Sanskar sigh and start telling about his night dreams like how he saw a burnt man in those dreams who try to kill him in his dreams and shockingly it all felt so real as if he actually chasing him in this real world and any moment he'll kill him .

Annu covered her mouth in shock hearing all this and say " oh sanskar why didn't you tell me all this before? How much time you are suffering from this scary nightmares all alone 🙁"

Sanskar " maa what will you do on this matter if you have known this before! These are nightmares and no one can control it " he take a deep breath and continue " maybe it's time for me to consult a psychiatric for this . I'm sure after getting a complete session with him I'll start get rid off these nightmares , it'll surely a part of my entire day memory which I heard or saw in videos or something causing me these nightmares once doctor start session I'll be fine maa " .

Annu worriedly " but--but sanskar maybe it's related to some supernatural thing you know like a sprit haunting you ! "

Sanskar " oh maa please don't start this ghost bullshit on my insomnia , you know I don't have one percent faith in supernatural stuff and besides who probably haunting me ? In my 20 years life I didn't hurt a fly so how come I hurt any human who died and now taking revenge by coming in my dreams! "

Annu " arre I'm not saying you hurt someone but maybe you caught an bad omen , it can happen with anyone . "

Sanskar " but it can't happen with me nor I believe in these so I am heading for save option which is medical help for insomnia and soon I'll be completely fine or I can try some sleeping pills " .

Annu " no way you are not going for any drugs and that's final " .

Sanskar shrugging his shoulders " fine then you'll go with me tomorrow morning to Dr. Das okay ? "

Annu nodded but still isn't convinced but she knows what to do and where to go for his problem ..

Next Morning

Sanskar come to college completely tired and exhausted coz whole night he kept running away from the burnt man in his night dreams who was laughing loudly saying " ahhhahhh run run away as much as you can rat in some days these dreams become reality hahaha "  at 2:30 a.m. his nightmare broke and he can't sleep after that .

Sanskar took his three lectures but his next lecture is free so his friends make plan to bunk rest of the classes and go out , all are excited but sanskar  turn off the offer and headed to basketball court leaving others to wonder what happened to him ? But all leave him and go out for fun hangout .
Sanskar is playing basketball to keep himself awake as he is feeling he'll sleep any moment and then see that burnt man again , after his warning sanskar started thinking what his mom said yesterday about the figure from his dreams might be a ghost but he don't really has any proof about it so he can't possibly think like that and be scared.

Sanskar stop for a moment to take a shaky deep breath closing his eyes not fully to stay awake just then he felt pair of hands embraced him like back hugging him . Sanskar quickly turn to see who is it but after a second breath in relief seeing the person standing in front of him .

A girl wearing a short light-green body hugged top and torn jeans looking at him with wide flirty smile eyeing him up and down.

Sanskar  " kavita you scared me for a moment I thought it someone.." but he got interrupted by kavita who say

Kavita  " oh come on sanskar it's just joke and besides who could touch you like that apart from me in this college as you are mine everybody knows that " .

Sanskar sigh and say " kavita how many times I told you I don't see you as my love interest, you are just my friend . Please find someone else for your self who can give you the love you desire " .

Kavita  " leave it sanskar I kept trying my best to make you fall in love with me anyways why didn't you go out with others when they made plan I mean you look exhausted so fresh air will be good for you  ".

Sanskar  " I'm tired . I can't sleep in night and now feeling sleepy but I can't sleep too " .

Kavita with confused face  " but why ? "

Sanskar  " forget it you can't understand it " .

Kavita hold his hand and ask  " sanskar please tell me , share your problem with me maybe I can help let's just try  " .

Sanskar sighed and tell her everything about his nightmares and the burnt man chasing him cause of which he can't sleep. 

Kavita  after listening to his problem say  " sanskar I know it sounds weird but can you try sleep on my lap I mean in my presence  ".

Sanskar   " what !! Are you out of your mind kavita ? "

Kavita try to make him understand  " sanskar listen it's just that I want to see if you see nightmare in someone's presence or not as I rad somewhere on internet that nightmares haunt us when we are alone so let's give it a try  " .

Sanskar feeling totally sleep agree and sleep on bench placing his head on her lap , kavita start massaging his head so that he can peacefully.

After a minute sanskar open his eyes only find burnt man face to face him who is running his burnt fingers though his hairs and say  " welcome back my boy miss me " .........

So sorry for delay and not replying to your lovely comments 😭😭🙁 as I stuck in project work 😣😣
