Take me away ( Noel Gallagher )

Chapter 1

Addie's P.O.V

April, 1989

I had just turned 16 about 2 weeks ago and Liam had been 17 for a while. Tonight, Peggy invited me around for tea and I was quite nervous because Noel and Paul would be there. Although it wasn't the first time we were going to meet, in fact I had spoken to them quite a few times, just not sat down at a table with them. The only time I ever really saw Noel would be when he comes home from work which was typically quite late.

I didn't really know why I was getting so nervous, I mean it may have been something to do with the ever so slight crush I had on Noel. I mean he was twenty-one but I didn't mind. I opted for a white tee, a pair of light blue denim jeans , my blue gazelles and my all time favourite leather jacket. 

I said goodbye and ran out the door before I could even hear a response from my mum. 

I ran down the street to the Gallagher's and I noticed that it was actually a really nice night, the sun was out and was just getting ready to dip below the horizon as it was almost 6pm. 

I knocked the door a few times and the door opened to those icy blue Gallagher eyes of which belonged to Noel.  

"Ey look who it is!" 

 "Hi Noel" 

I smiled at him and walked through to the living room and I could feel his eyes glued to me... Although it made me nervous, I liked it.

I was sitting on Liam's bed, whilst Noel was hanging out the window for a cigarette when I noticed a guitar sitting upright beside his bed. 

"Noel do you play?" 

 "Just mess about... I ain't that good" 

I was about to ask him something when Peggy called us down.

I sat beside Liam at the table, with Noel diagonal from me and Peggy across from me. When we had began to eat I looked over at Noel and he winked at me, I just looked down at my plate with my cheeks bright red. 

After dinner, we were sat on the couch watching TV when i noticed it was almost 11 and I should've been home an hour ago. 

"Fuck, me mams gonna kill me when I get in" 

Liam had fallen asleep next to me with his head rested on my shoulder. I slowly got up, in an attempt not to wake him. I walked to the front door and slipped my shoes on when Noel came out from the living room. 

"I'll walk you up"

"Thanks " I smiled at him.

"You should teach me to play."

 "We'll see about that"

 "I mean I know you're good... I've overheard you a few times"

"Nah I'm shit... But you'll be lucky if I let you touch my guitar, don't even let Rkid touch it"

 He smiled at me, I just laughed at his response. He pulled out his cigarettes and lit one... he offered me one and I gladly accepted.

Once we had reached mine I finished my cig and put it out, Noel doing the same. He walked me to the gate and stopped.

 "I really should get to know you better" 

"Well you will when you start teaching me how to play guitar" 

I couldn't help but grin at my own remark. He smiled and lifted my chin, pulling my face up and closer to his. No lights were on in the house so there was no way my mum could see. 

He slowly leaned in and pressed his lips to mine, I kissed him back with and what I felt was like fireworks. Before he could deepen the kiss, I pulled away enough to see those eyes again. 

"Are you coming round tomorrow?".

"Yeah" I whispered. 

He kissed me once more and watched me walk into my house.

When I got to my room I stuck my music on and I screamed into my pillow with excitement. I couldn't believe he had just kissed me.
