It finally happened.
I couldn't believe it at first. The bare reality of the moment I had visualised every night for sixteen years , was overwhelming.
But as I saw her rushing into my arms , I faced the reality.
The person I had longed to meet since the day I was born was here ,in the flesh.
My sister Maddison.I felt the gush of wind of the nearby trains before I felt her .
Her embrace warming my shoulders, spreading a comfort about me that I had never known before.
Her long billowing hair spilling over my shoulders, ticking the bare skin of my shoulder less shirt.
Her strong arms holding me , supporting me , being the sisterly figure I had never had growing up.
I could almost feel myself twirling, like in the movies, with the camera panning around our entwined bodies , as if we were never going to let go.
But eventually the train passed with a roar , the camera switched to the next scene and we broke apart, our gazes taking in sixteen years worth of looks.
"Madison" I breathed, testing out her name,
"I'm going to show you London"
