                                       PROLOGUE

The sun shone rapidly through the branches of trees, a tortoishell she cat was sitting there her tail curled around her paws and enjoying the warmth of the sun dappling her fur. Suddenly a light brown tabby she cat burst through the undergrowth bowling into her, the she cat yowled in surprise bracing herself for attack. But to her astonishment it was just JacklePaw, but then JacklePaw yowled, "TurtleTail, it's BlazeStar! I mean the camp! it's under attack!"

                     

                              CHAPTER 1

                               JacklePaw breathed heavily and scaredly." TurtleTail meowed, JacklePaw go to camp i'll be right at your tail! And as TurtleTail had said she raced to camp right on her tail. When she burst into camp it was right in the middle of an immense battle. TurtleTail caterwhauled and bowled into a handsome tabby Tom who was tearing at FireGaze who writhed helplessly under his strong grip. The Tom turned to her she bared her teeth and stepped in front of FireGaze, the Tom hissed, "Come to protect your precious little brother TurtleTail?" She snarled, "With my life GnarledTooth!" The Tom GnarledTooth spat at her, "Family only slows you down, my clan SeekClan is much stronger because we don't pity the weak ones!"TurtleTail pinned him and lashed neck gashing it making it bleed very heavily, during that time GnarledTooth winced but launched her off with powerful hind legs and she hit a tree. 

                                    CHAPTER 2

TurtleTail yowled in pain and agony she was expecting kits! But whose kits were they who was the father? But suddenly she snapped back to attention because GnarledTooth was heading for her but to her horror she saw his jaws blood dripping and FireGaze laying on the floor unmoving. She yowled not only in pain but in sadness hatred and fury, she launched at GnarledTooth knocking him by surprise she yowled in his face, "You flea ridden Fox breath! you killed my brother!!!" She gnashed his throat with vicious claws. GnarledTooth grinned showing blood stained teeth, "He was too weak anyways!" Turtletail slammed his face in the dirt and swiped a hard blow at his neck bone so hard the blow breaks the bone. GnarledTooth yowled in agony but then grew silent his body stopped twitching and he lay there, dead.
