His Royal Majesty, King Adarelian Rurien Driadon Grith Aferamwen Kiwia Ibeahar Ariem Agrilith Geiwin Qeikoth of the Demon Realm, and yes, he was perfectly aware of the ridiculousness of his name, he didn't choose it, was doing research. He was technically supposed to be doing paperwork, but he disliked paperwork, and he had a sort of excuse as to why he wasn't. If Aselacien caught him, well, he really didn't want to know. Honestly, despite being King, somehow Aselacien still scared him. Whenever he caught him doing something that he technically shouldn't be doing, he gave him that bizarrely creepy smile, then proceeded to mess up his schedule so there were double booked meetings, triple the amount of paperwork, and make everything harder than it needed to be. Aselacien was an extremely passive aggressive existence. He was also very petty. It did not make for a demon who could be pissed off.

The girl that Aselacien had kidnapped and shoved on him, Kateryn, was honestly quite cute. He wasn't quite sure where she had gotten her clothes, as she seemed uncomfortable in them, but he didn't really want to know. Especially not if the answer was Aselacien. It was nice that she was cooperating with him, seeing as how they were probably going to be stuck with each other for a long long time. He did wonder why though, especially since the records of all the previous Demon Kings said that the kidnapped princess would frequently fight back, and generally be unruly, though it did seem to be dying down as time went by. He didn't quite understand how that worked, but did it really matter? Maybe all the past kings were just rude to the princesses and they retaliated in kind. It wouldn't surprise him.

Anyways, the point was, his apparent bride-to-be had mentioned a 'coarship' was it?...'courtship'? He still wasn't 100 percent sure. From what bits of information he could find, it was an old human tradition. He just wasn't sure what it entailed. At the rate his research was going, he was probably going to have to send one of the demons that specialized in illusions to go find out for him. And then Aselacien would probably find out. Yeah no. He was just going to have to figure it out on his own.

"Your Majesty!" Hearing the knocking on the door Adarelian tripped and fell off the ladder he had been using to look at the books on the top shelf in surprise.

"Are you alright, your majesty?" Ethayrwen asked. Ethayrwen was about average in height for a demon, with red hair and eyes, and an incubus tail. He also had an unhealthy amount of worship towards Adarelian. He still wasn't sure where it had originated. It wasn't like he had done anything to deserve it.

"Don't worry! I'll be fine!" Adarelian reassured. It wasn't like a little fall could hurt him.

"Of course, It's not like a little fall could hurt his majesty!" Adarelian still wasn't sure whether or not Ethayrwen could read minds, though he at least had the peace of mind since that Ethayrwen worshiped him too much to even attempt reading his mind if he was actually capable of doing so. He didn't have any proof after all, and he really didn't want to have to ask.

"So what did you come here for?" Ethayrwen had knocked on the door out of nowhere. "I don't have anything scheduled for today, right?" If he recalled correctly, today was a paperwork day. Looking over at the towering stack, he really ought to start sometime soon.

"Oh right! Aselacien asked me to get you!" Ethayrwen grinned.

"Ah..." Adarelian sighed. "That's great." He said sarcastically. Why? Why did Aselacien feel the need to ruin his day? Well, that probably wasn't his intention though. Still, he hadn't done anything that Aselacien could find fault in recently right? Right?

"Well then, I'll be going now!" And the bearer of bad news was perfectly happy.

"All right, have a good day then." Well, the faster he got to Aselacien, the less likely the playfully sadistic demon would find fault in him. Gathering up his courage, the Demon King took a portal to where Aselacien's mark indicated he was. All of his trusted subordinates had them. It was another tradition passed down so the King was able to tell where they were at any given time, and there were multiple other little things it did, but Adarelian only really used the locating feature. And the message sending. And the... well he actually used quite a few of the features now that he thought about it.
