Nikki's POV
Christmas party was near and the 10th grade we're supposed to be MC for programs in JHS.
We were in the garden practicing our performance until the teacher in charge of programs came where we are practicing.
"Ok," she started, "who wants to volunteer as the MC for.. our Christmas party?" She asked while looking at us.
We looked at each other and no one answered. She looked at the papers in her hands and her gaze went to us after, "Ok, so.. who's not been able to be an MC?"
"Kate and Jay." Some said looking at each other with a teasing smile.
"Kate and Jay it is, you may continue practicing." She smiled and left.
"Goodbye ma'am Scott."
We all squealed by the thought of Kate and Jay.
Mia's expression changed, I went to her. "Are you okay with Kate and Jay being the MCs?", I asked but she quickly shook her head as a No.
