Myles :

I'm kinda nervous because Devon's brought some mates to meet the girl, and I'm not sure how she'll react.

They're laughing and joking, while I bite my lip.

It's funny, when I first saw her, I was expecting her to be nervous around me like everyone is, but it's complete opposite!

"Here we are," Devon announced.

We stare up in awe.

Woah.

He knocked on the door and I breathe in, sharply.

"One sec!" I hear a female voice yell.

The door opens to reveal a pretty girl, around 17 and she looks at us.

"Can I help you?"she asks.

" Um, is Briar in? "I ask, my voice shaking.

" Yeah, "she smiles at me." BRIAARRRR! "

Oh, so that's her name.

It's perfect, just like her.

The girl ushers us in, and runs upstairs.

Briar comes down, laughing, but when she sees us her, face falls.

" Hey, "I attempt to smile, despite my being REALLY nervous.

The boys become cocky, laughing and joking, poking each other.

They jump on the sofas, catcalling Briar.

She watches them, silently, until one by one, they each fall silent.

Except one, Josh.

" You've got a pretty face," he smirks at Briar.

"You haven't," she shuts him down.

He doesn't get the message.

"Nice place you got here, mind if I move in?" he waggled his eyebrows.

I got angrier and angrier.

As I was about to punch him, Briar walked up to him slowly.

I didn't expect what happened next.

She put one finger to his lips and he leant in.

I looked away.

I couldn't watch her kiss someone else.

It hurt too much.

The sharp sound of someone being slapped echoed around the spacious room.

I looked up to see Josh clutching his cheek.

I smirked.

The boys gasped and oohed.

"What do you have to say to me?" she demanded.

He stood up and grabbed Briar's shoulders.

She took his shoulders and kneeded him in the stomach three times.

"Sorry Briar," he groaned.

"That's better," she said, rubbing her hands together. "I told you I could be Badass."

She looked pointedly at Devon and the boys who looked terrified.

As she left, she spun round and winked at me.
