it's crazy how your perspective
on everything
changes when you get your heart broken
you listen more closely to the lyrics of a song,
you read a story of two lovers with your eyes tearing uncontrollably
because everything reminds you of the person you lost
every movie, every song, every poem
and every sentence you write down
is soaked in pain
and feels like you cut a peace from your own heart
that's why no one writes poems as beautiful
as people who have felt pain
by sharing those poems
they express their feelings in a way that
everyone who went threw the same can relate to
in poetry the broken speak the same language
that's why poetry that was written by a broken heart
is the most beautiful
the most pure
and the most rare
