Audra's POV

"I'm Perrie, Perrie Edwards." She said.

"Perrie - who?" I said stupidly, like WAKE UP AUDRA!

"Perrie Edwards, I'm in Little Mix." She said.

"Little Mix." I said, clueless.

She sighs "You're obviously not well awake right now, even people who don't know me from Little Mix recognize me." She said.

"No, no, I think I'e seen you somewhere." I say.

"Try to remember darling." She says.

"Perrie Edwards, were you in the X- Factor? Your group won the X - Factor?" I say, good Audra, you're finally waking up. 

"Yes. Yes, so you know me." She said.

"You're Zayn Malik's girlfriend right?" I said.

"Fiancée" She corrected me.

"I'm Audra Rayne. I'm from Wolverhampton."

"Wolverhamton? You might be knowing Liam Payne? Like, everyone knows him, but before he was in One Direction." She joked.

I let out the breath I didn't realise I was holding.

"I do. I did." I said.

The look on her face told me that she didn't believe me, and the look on my face proved that I wasn't joking.

"Are you serious?" She asked.

I nodded.

"But... What? Liam didn't mention you, but then again, why would he mention a girl who he knew, he probably knew a lot of people." Perrie said.

"No, we both knew each other, we were... pretty close, but I'd understand if he never said anything about me." I said, nearly in tears. 

Perrie looked at me with a look of pity. And then noticed me fighting my tears.

"Hey, hey are you okay?" Perrie said.

"Yeah, I'm... fine." I said.

"Well, I should rephrase my question, So, hey, you're not fine. What's wrong?" Perrie said.

"I'm fine." I insisted.

She was quiet for a while, "You can tell me anything, okay? It won't get out." She said softly.

"Pezz, are you coming?" A voice calls from outside.

"Can you wait for a while Jadey, I'm busy!" She calls back, and turns to me again.

"So, what happened?" She asks.

"Do you want the longer version of the story or the shorter one?" I say softly.

"What?I can't hear you babe, speak louder." She laughs.

"I said, do you want the longer version of the story or the shorter one?" I say, a little louder this time.

"Whichever one you're comfortable with." She says.

"I'm fine with both." I said.

"Okay, whichever one you want babe. " She said.

"Well, how much time do you have?" I asked.

"Well, about four hours before my performance tonight." She said.

"Then I'll tell you the long version." I said.

"Go ahead." She said.

Perrie's POV

"Okay, so it was during the time we were 16. I was... I was friends with a few people, who really didn't like Liam, and I was sort of a part of those people." She said.

I gasped. 

"No, don't get me wrong, it wasn't anything like you think it was. I was tricked. You see, my two friends Laura and Georgia, we were closer to each other than anyone, they knew everything about me, and we didn't really know Liam before one of the guys, and so they told us really bad stuff about him, and... and we believed it, so Liam never really saw us , all three of us, with the bad guys, and the forced us, namely me, to become friends with him, and then I saw his real side, that he was actually a good guy. And I genuinely started liking him, as a friend, more then a friend, I don't know, but all I knew was, that there was a rumour around that he liked me. So they decided to take advantage of that, and me and Liam were genuinely friends, Laura and Georgia stuck with me through this, then a few days before his sixteenth, he asked us for help, he said he needed help to give the invitations to people, and we needed to post them, like the post office. No technology available, and we were going, and they found us, and they... snatched the invitations and..." She stopped.

"Go on." I told her as warmly as I could.

"So, Liam didn't find out until after his party, when no one came, because they didn't get the invitations, and till then I was in a river of guilt. And I went to him, and told him everything, like. From the start, siding with the bad side included. And... And that cost me his friendship." She was almost in tears, and I really didn't know what to say.

"After that, everything I said, did, or anything, for the fact, he thought was against him, I apologized continuously, and when in the end he finally believed that my apology was true, BOOM, he was gone, and since then, I've felt so much, everything except happiness, even when I have, it wasn't complete. My heart was in pieces and it wasn't complete. I live alone, so I felt miserable, and I still do, I entered the X - Factor because I wanted him to notice me, and then I understood. I actually, genuinely did like him, more than a friend." She finished, taking a deep breath.

"Well, at least you had a reason for entering the competition, I did so that my mum would buy me an iPhone." I joked trying to lighten the mood.

She cracked a smile, but I knew it wasn't real, and I knew the pain (Payne, get it xD, lol so lame :P) she was feeling was real.

"Mom..." She said, very faintly.

"What? What happened?" I asked her.

"What? Oh God, I didn't say that aloud. I did?" She asked, flushing.

"It's okay, love. And your secret's safe with me." I said.

"Thank you." She said, and relaxed.

"Does it feel good to let it out now?" I asked.

She nods.
