It was a rainy night. A tall, well-built man, huffed and puffed against the roaring winds, trying to cover his face against the stinging raindrops. Being almost 6'2" and dressed all in black, he seemed to become one with his surroundings. Camouflage. Very necessary for someone in his profession. His footsteps quickened on the streets, against the downpour as he felt his warm bed calling for him. As he walked along the dark, lonely street, he noticed the lone patch of light adorning a section of street in front of him. God bless convenience stores for popping up anywhere and everywhere. Seeing the store he came to a halt. Dinner! He didn't have anything at home. Entering the store, he looked around a bit and finally settled on a couple of packets of ramyeon. Chanyeol wasn't very enthusiastic about cooking especially after such a long and tiring day, so ramyeon it was.
Park Chanyeol is a platinum grade assassin. That means, he's the best of the best. Sharp, precise, disciplined. He had been trained under the biggest conglomerate of organised crime in South Korea since he was 10. And now, 16 years later, he went by the title of Apollo (and deservingly so). He was not only the sharpest shooter but also the best martial artist there was. Not to mention the fact that his big physique did more of the scaring than his actual skills.
Finally, he reached his house. Chanyeol was ridiculously rich, which was very evident if one saw the interior of his house. However, to keep a low profile, his two-storey house was made to look like an old, used building from the outside. After doing a quick check to make sure he wasn't being followed, the Apollo pulled out his keys and-
"What the hell!"
There, lying on the front steps of his house was a tiny little girl. The little girl was covered with a dark blue stole which made it hard for the assassin to notice her first. Hearing him scream she shot up and stared at him with big brown eyes.
"Ya! Jimin, you scared me! What are you doing here?" The tall male had recognised the little girl. She lived in the area, although far enough for her to come to his house all alone, at this time of the night.
"Where's your mum?"
"Samcho, Will you help me?"
Assassin or not, the big burly male had a soft spot for animals and children. That was where he drew the line. He would not hurt either of them, for any amount of money. Hearing the small 7-year-old ask for his help, he obviously wasn't going to turn her away, although he did feel things were a little suspicious. After looking around again, he decided to hear her out and opened the door to let her in. Little Jimin hopped, skipped and jumped inside his home like it was her own.
Chanyeol had an impressive house. The interiors were white, black and grey arranged in a minimalist theme. Apart from the living/dining space and kitchen, there were three rooms, two bathrooms and a library. Hidden behind the library, a special room held his weapons. Jimin ran to the kitchen, pulled out a chair and settled herself in it. The big man got her a towel and she vigorously started rubbing her brown curls. Placing a glass of warm milk before her, he sat down opposite to her.
"So, what's up?"
Jimin took her time. She downed a big gulp of milk, looked Chanyeol straight in the eyes and said,
"Samcho, I know you kill people for a living. I have a job for you."
