I was confused about where I was. It seemed scary.
I looked down at my little hands. They used to be covered in dirt. At least I think they were. I think I also remember fur touching my… I can’t remember the word. What is a
‘word’? What is anything? It feels like I fell out of a tree. What is a ‘tree’?
I almost fell out of the big cloud thing at a sound. I tried to cover myself but I seemed
to forgotten how. I watch a few men stand near a sheet of ice that is stuck in the
barriers. They seem to be speaking but I can’t hear a thing they say. I try to get up to
say hi to the strange men, for they seem friendly. They notice me getting up and go
over to the entrance. Scared I ran over to the cloud and hid under the blankets. They
came in with ice covered liquids and said something about ‘open my mouth’. I nodded
as if I understood what they said. I had no idea what they were talking about. I opened
my mouth anyways, for I really didn’t want to see what they would do if I didn’t. I guess I expected the color ice to taste yummy as a peach or berry. It didn’t. It tasted
weird. I don’t want to taste that stuff again. They told me I have to though. They told me that the ‘medicine’ was to help me better. I really don’t want to take ‘medicine’ for
this ‘Amnesia’ or ‘Coma’ stuff.
The ‘nurses’ are coming back. I have to put you away now, buddy. I’m sorry, but it is for our own good. Wait. Isn’t that what father used to say? What is a ‘father’? What is a
‘mother’? I wish I remembered, for I really want them for some weird reason.
