Teenage Love & Broken Hearts

Chapter 1

(Clementine's POV)

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

 I slowly opened my eyes, soon to be blinded by the sun, I shut off my alarm and look at the clock. It was 7:15 in the morning. School starts at 8:45.

"Come on Sweet pea, it's time to get up!" Lee exclaimed while barging into my room, causing me to get interrupted from my thoughts.

"I'm already up Lee, I just need to get ready for the day. Now may you please get out of my room?" I replied.

"Yeah, no worries, I'll talk to you when you come downstairs." Lee said.

"Alright, I'll be down soon." I quickly replied.

I walked to my dresser to get some clothes, I grabbed a Thrasher shirt, and some ripped jeans. Might as well grab a thrasher hoodie. I walked out of my room and went towards the bathroom. I knocked to see if anyone was in there. No one respond, so I walked in and started to brush my hair, I put it up in pigtails, like always. 

After I finished in the bathroom I check my phone. It was 7:30,  I still got time. I started to walk towards to stairs until I got tackled by Aj. I chuckled by his actions, he was laughing his ass off. I hear Lee walking up the stairs, once he got to the top of the stairs. He just stared until 5 seconds had passed, then he started to laugh with Aj. I started to get confused why they were laughing. I realized that I put my jeans on backwards.

"I would recommend y-you put your jeans on the right way." Lee said while bursting out laughing again.

I get up and walk to my room, soon walking out of my room having my jeans on the right way. I go downstairs smelling breakfast being made. Pancakes, eggs, bacon, and fruit. I go grab a plate and get pancakes, eggs, and fruit. Specifically having sliced up apples. I checked the time before I start to eat. It's around 7:45. I start to eat my breakfast. After I finished eating, I went to get up and put my plate away, Lee starts to talk to me.

"Clementine, we'll leave in 5 minutes, its 8:00 at the moment." Lee says.

"Alright, I'll be in the living room." I said back.

5 minutes had passed and Lee started to yell my name in the kitchen.

"Clementine! We have to go! I'll meet you in the car!" Lee yells.

"Alright! I'll meet you out there." I yell back.

I run towards my shoes, I quickly put them on. I rushed to grab my backpack and my hat. I adjust my hat on my head before giving a hug to Carley and leaving.

"I'll see you after school!" I yelled towards Aj. 

"I love you Clem!" He said.

"I love you back goofball!" 

"Don't call me that!" 

I get into Lee's car and he backs out of the driveway. We only live about 6 minutes away from the school. Once we get to the school, Lee tells me that he'll be going to his classroom. I walk towards the main entrance of the school. But I stopped and looked at the name of the school. Ericson's Boarding School. I walked to the main desk and asked if I could see the headmaster. The lady at the front desk told me he'll talk to me in a bit. I waited for 5 minutes until the headmaster walked out of his office

"Clementine Everett?" He asked.

"Yes. That's me." I replied back to the man.

He gestured me to follow him to his office. Once we get to his office, he opens the door for me, so I walked into the room and took a seat. I heard the doors close behind me, and then see him walk pass me and sit in his chair.

"Your the new student?" He asked me.

"Yes." I quickly replied to his question.

"Alright, so I have your schedule, which will tell you where your locker is going to be, including you pass code to your lock ." He firmly said as he gave me a lock for my locker and a piece of paper.

"So you can follow me if you like. I'll show you where your classes are going to be, I'll help you get to your locker also."

"Thank you."

After the tour I started to walk to Lee's classroom. As i'm walking I check my phone, it's 8:36. I went to my locker and put my backpack and jacket inside. I grabbed my notebooks, folders, and books before I could leave. I checked the time again, Its 8:40, I should get going to my first hour. I check my schedule, I guess I have science with Mr. Luke. I walked into the class and took my seat. About 2 minutes had passed since I've walked in the classroom. I look up and see a total of 5 people walking towards me.

"Hey, mind if we sit by you. You just seem lonely while sitting here, I can tell you a joke if you like?" He said while grinning, then seeing his grin turning into a hurtful expression after getting punched in the arm by a blonde.

"Shut up, before your talking scares her away." The blonde said.

"Ow- that hurt!" "B-By the way, my name's Louis."

"That's Marlon." He said while pointing to the boy that seemed as if he had a dead cat on his head.

"That's Brody" He pointed to the red head that was sitting by Marlon.

"That's Aasim, but I like to call him ASSim." He whispered the last part to me. I chuckled a bit by his comment.

"Anddddd that's Purp-" He wasn't able to finish his sentence without getting punched in the arm again.

"-Violet." He corrected himself before getting punched again.

"I also call her 'Flower' but she doesn't like that nickname either." He whispered so Violet couldn't hear him.

"What's your name?" Marlon asked.

"Clementine." I said.

"Nice to meet you orange." Violet said.

"Nice to meet you too, flower." I said.

She chuckled a little at what I said. But then I look at everyone else, seeing them laughing. We all sit down before Mr. Luke could yell at us. Violet sat down beside me, while Louis and Aasim sat in front of us, and having Marlon and Brody sitting be hide us. I look to my right, seeing Violet adjust her purple beanie. She looked at me and gave a soft smile. I like her cute smile..
