(Louis's POV)

I turn to the left of me, seeing Violet working on her assignment. That's unusual, She never does any work. Even if anyone asked her to do it, she'll ignore you. I hear someone call my name, I turn back at Clementine.

"Louis?"

"Yeah?" I say, snapping out of my thoughts. I look to see Clementine with a confused look, waiting for me to say something.

"Who have you been staring at?" She asks, while teasing me.

"I-its Violet, I think she's mad or frustrated by something." I tell her.

"How?"

"She's actually doing her work for once, she never does it. Even if you ask her to do it, she'll just ignore you." I inform her about Violet. I hear a silent sigh from the left of me, I turn to see Violet annoyed.

"You okay, Violet?" I asked her, worried by how Vi was acting recently. "You don't seem like yourself today." I pushed further, hoping to get an answer from the blonde girl. Violet only sighed and shook her head 'no'.

"Honestly, I don't feel so good." She replied in all honesty, she didn't have to say why exactly it is that felt bad, she didn't have to say anything, really, but she didn't want him to worry about her more. Their science teacher turned slightly, eyeing all the kids, but seeing that no one was moving an inch, he resumed to write on the board.

"You should tell a teacher, excuse yourself from the rest of your classes"I whispered to her, Violet seemed to think of that as an option.

"I should probably stay, I've been using that excuse too much." She finally looked at me, I seen her eyes a little puffy and red. I didn't want to push it, so I just ignored it. She look down at the desk and continued to work on the assignment that she was working on previously. I turn the Clementine, she gave me nervous look.

"I don't know.." I whispered to her, she gave a slow nod in response.

After class was over, I quickly got up and grab my stuff before heading off by Violet. I exited out of the classroom soon to see Violet walking down the hall. I quickly picked up my pace, I was able to catch up to her, soon walking right next to her.

"You alright?"

"Huh?" She says, after getting interrupted from her thoughts.

"I asked if you were alright." I repeated myself.

"I'm fine, I just wasn't feeling good earlier." She tried to reassure me.

"Alright."

I haven't seen her warm up to someone that fast, even before Clementine got here. She seem to be irritated, like as if she was mad at me about something. W-what does she like Clementine?

"Soooo..Violet?"

"Yeah?"

"Do you have a crush yet?" I asked her, I seen her head turn away, in the other direction. "Who is it then?" Pushing it a little bit, hoping to get an answer from her.

"I-I don't like anyone at all." She told me.

"Are you sure?" I ask her again. She doesn't even reply to me and gives me a nod. "I feel that you're lying." pushing her again.

"I'm not lying."

"Are you sure?"

"Fuck..fine, I'll tell you because I know you're going to keep asking me all damn day." She told me, I was very excited, like a 6 year old waiting to open their Christmas presents.

"I-It's Clementine."

"It is?" I ask her, she looked nervous. "It hasn't even been a week yet." I told Violet.

"I know, but i'm not even sure if I fully like her. But I got somewhat jealous when you started to talk to her in class, you we're able to make her laugh, smile and seem as if she enjoyed being around you. That's something I can't do, Louis. Even if I like her, she wouldn't even like me back because you cast your love spell on her. The thing is, I'm not even sure if she likes girls yet." She explained to me, while we walked into math class. We went to go sit by the others, I looked to the right of me, seeing Violet getting a little nervous around Clementine. I was going to tell Clem, but I wanted Violet to tell her about it, instead of me.

(Clem's POV)

I'm still confused on why Violet was acting that way, acting a way to avoid something. I look in her direction, seeing Louis to the left of her. Louis waved to me, I returned it back. When Violet sat next to me. I felt nervous, I usually never felt nervous around anyone.  I look to my right seeing Violet adjust her beanie on, I caught myself staring before she did. I looked down with a bright face and continue doing the starter in math. Whatever these feelings are, they're definitely going to drive me crazy. I felt a tap on my shoulder and I turn around seeing Brody having a shit-eating grin.

"What?"

"So, what's up with you and Violet?"

"Nothing, we're just friends." I hear Violet interrupting us. My heart somewhat ached when she said that. I have no clue why it did, but it just did.

"Are you sure?" Brody asked Violet, pushing her, trying to get an answer from her.

"Yes, I'm sure." I seen Violet turn the other direction, having a hurt expression on her face. I wanted to ask what's wrong, but I didn't want to push her.

Class continued as normal, until I felt someone tap my shoulder again. I turned to see Brody again. She looked as if she was about to say something, but then the bell interrupted her. I quickly get up and grabbed my stuff. I start to walk to gym class and I hear someone walk up behind me. I turn around to see Sophie, she waved to me, I returned it. We started to walk to the locker rooms, but then she asked a question.

"Do you like anyone so far?"

"Not really." I told her, I seen her expression turn confused. "What do you mean by 'Not really'?"

"I just don't like anyone so far." I corrected myself before she could ask anymore questions.

"Alright. But as soon as you start to like someone, you should tell me." She said while chuckling.

"I will, don't worry about." I told her as we walked into the locker rooms.

I think I like Violet..
