Kidnapped

It was the middle of the night when I heard the screams. I opened my eyelids which were twitching with fear, Who was screaming I thought. Averon Villain chose your family to torture, Just then I realized what had happened, my mom was captured. I jumped out of my bed and ran over to Mark and Eva  “Wake up!” I shouted. They woke up with a start. “What’s wrong?”  Eva murmurred. “Mark your dad and my mom were screaming,” I said rushing through words . “Let’s go see what happened I think they were captured,” Mark said quickly.

We ran out of the room and raced downstairs and looked around… There was no one there, they weren’t in their rooms either. “Were a-re t-t-they,” Cried Eva “I-I don’t kn-know,” I stammered. Just then Pixie burst through the door towards us a small tear in her eye making it shine like a crystal. “I heard the screams,” she said in a quiet voice. “Who took them?” asked Eva “The villain of Averon , as I told you before chose your family to torture,” said Pixie. “We must find the letter,” Pixie said “What letter?” I asked “Every time a family is chosen to torture he leaves a letter with his hints,” said Pixie already looking around. Everyone started to look around, everywhere then suddenly “I found it!” yelled Mark after looking everywhere, “Where was it?” asked Pixie “In the kitchen,” said Mark proudly, Pixie snatched the note from his hands and opened it, this is what it said.

Dear Victim  (Jane),

You have three days to find them until you turn 13, if not your whole family will vanish into thin air, more people you love will keep on disappearing. Until you find them they will be locked up. Were?  The Death Chamber . I know your biggest fear don’t try and hide it, ‘cause you’ll have to face it if you don’t want them dead. Tick Tock!

How did he know my fear I thought staring at the floor, I froze with fear remembering his words, more people you love will keep on disappearing, I don’t want to do this alone I thought. My eyes started to water but I held it in I had to act brave, casually I said “So how do we get to the death chamber?” not bothering to say oh no! “So here is the map and that is the death chamber,” said Pixie pointing around on the map. “So if we only have 3 days we have to follow this route… the endless mountains, the piranha lake, endless mountains again, the death forest, and then finally we get to the death chamber. If you want to get there on time you have to go that way,” Pixie said “But it’s the hardest path,” said Eva. “I know but the other way you will never make it,” I had to do it the hard way so I didn’t hesitate because I wanted my mom back I wasn’t going to let fear take over me.
