THE DARK PRINCE by the_rulebreaker
CHAPTER I: My Everyday Life
He's "the Dark Prince".
A black silhouette crossed the streets in the dark hours of the night. My eyes followed him as he crossed the streets and disappeared into his apartment. I sighed. Are his earphones so loud that he can't hear my footsteps behind him? Or is he just ignoring me?
I sighed. I walked on slow steps to my apartment -- which was just next door he's --, drowned my hands into my pockets and searched for my keys. Click was the sound the entrance door made when it was unlocked. I stepped in. A purring sound made me get on my knees to greet Shimako, my beautiful stripped cat. I got up and walked in the dark towards my room. I didn't bother to turn the lights on. I walked straight to my bed and dropped on my bed. I couldn't fall asleep. I rolled to my right and the. To my left. I sighed and laid on my back. Face up, eyes open, I dragged my palms behind my head. Hours later, I fell asleep. Must have been around 12:00 P.M.

"Awwwn... It's too bright" I said dragging the cover over my head and putting a pillow on my head. A ringing sound started playing not very far away from my ears. "Awwwn..." I whined "shut up...". I sent my hand searching for my smartphone. -- At first I ignored it --. I failed a couple of times and finally put my hands on it. I pressed the green sign on the screen to take the call as I slowly sat up and took it to my ears. "What?" I shot without second thought.
"Good Morning Sleeping Beauty~!"
That voice. I sighed. "I'm a guy for hell's sake." I muttered. "What do you fucking want? Do you know what time it is?" I shot at the person on the other side of the line.
"I know" the voice replied. "It's 7:15 A.M."
My eyes widened "...7:15?!"
"Yeah"
I threw my phone on the bed and ran to the bathroom. Five minutes later, I came out, grabbed the first uniform I found and hurried out of the building grabbing an apple in the process of leaving the apartment.

I ran into the main gates of the school. Lawrence Foster -- my best friend and also the dude who called me earlier -- was waiting for me at the entrance of the building. He waved at me when he spotted me. I waved back.
"Hey princess" he said with such a bright smile it burnt.
"Sup loser"
We walked towards our classrooms --after my breathing returned to normal from the running part-- and slipt in from the backdoor. The teacher didn't notice.

The day was pretty boring like usual. I dozed off and slept occasionally. The teacher never really noticed, since I was seated at the back -- can i get a heart for backseats? Yey -- and there where quite a number of students...so yeah...

It was finally the end of the day. I grinned triumphantly as I raised my arms in the air. I had removed my coat and shirt. I was just left with a white tee-shirt on, and my pants which I had rolled up to my knees. Lawrence and I walked through the park as the sun went down.
"Hey. How's your conquest going?" Lawrence asked.
I shrugged. Why you even asking? if you really know me, you would know I don't really like talking about my love life.
"Still in love with the handsome boy next door?"
Persistant, are we? I've never had any luck in love and you know that. I looked up to a sky full if stars. The night had fallen already. I shrugged again and jumped in front of him.
He looked up from his ice-cream.
"See ya."
"See ya tomorrow" he said as he waved at me.
We went our separated ways. I sighed as I reached the nearest exit I found in the park. I looked up at the sky once more. I looked back infront of me and perceived a dark shadow move along the wall. I smirked; "the Dark Prince". I crossed the road and followed him through the streets. I watched his every one step. His pale thin body move under the light of the moon. His delicate back against the material of his black shirt. Sigh. He's so gorgeous.
I peeked at him occasionally while waiting for the metro. Although, like alwaya, he never seemed to notice me. He sat at the exact same spot as he usually does and scribbled into his notebook.
I leaned against a pole as I waited to arrive at our final stop. When the metro stopped, I walked outside and slowed paced until "the Dark Prince" passed me. Yeah... He kind of walks real fast. We walked into the building, walked up the stairs, walked down the hallways and finally reached home. Still no word had been exchanged. I made sure it didn't look like I was following him. When Lawrence asked me if I was a stalker, I told him he lived next door. And just so you know...I didn't lie. He is my neighbor. He really does live next door.
I sighed as I collapsed on my bed. --Not literally.-- I laid on my bed and slid my hands behind my head.
I sighed. That's just my boring daily routine. In the morning, pure laziness. In the afternoon, sleepy. At night, can't sleep. That's my everyday life.
The only good thing about my days, is probably "the Dark Prince" part.
There is a reason why I call him "the Dark Prince". And it's probably because he likes wearing black. He always wears something black with his uniform. And he's as handsome as a Prince. So yeah.
I rolled to my left and hugged my pillow. I wonder if "the Dark Prince" would feel this soft in my arms. If his pale white skin would be as soft as cotton. If his pale white body would blend in perfectly with mine...I wondered. I hugged the pillow tighter.
After that, I must have fallen asleep aided by my wildest fantasies playing in my head.
