(I looked up the cat au it exists but screw it i don't care)

Huey's POV

Dewey and I wanted to do something so bad. We were bored out of our minds, so Dewford had gone to bug Scrooge in his office. I doubted this would work, but hey, it was worth a shot? Eventually, Dewey came out screaming at the top of his lungs, followed closely by Scrooge, who was wearing earmuffs. I need to get some of those. Dewey raced towards me, yelling.

"HUEYWE'REGOINGTOTHETOPOFAVOLCANOTOSOMEEVILVILLAINLAIROMGWOWITWORKEDIDIDN'TTHINKITWOULDDIDYOUBECAUSEIDIDN'TOOHTHISISGOINGTOBESOMUCHFUNGOGETLOUIEANDWEBBYANDTELLTHEM'CUSIWANTTOGONOWPLEASEPLEASEPLEASE!!!" He panted afterwards.

(translation: Huey, we're going to the top of a volcano to some evil villain lair! Oh my gosh WOW it WORKED! I didn't think it would, did you? Because I didn't! Ooh, this is going to be so much fun! Go get Louie and Webby and tell them, 'cus I want to go now! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!)

"Nice, I'll go pack!" I said as I left to get necessities. I went up the stairs and grabbed band-aids, snacks, water, change of clothes, pocket knife, matches, and so on. ... I was forgetting something.... I mentally facepalmed. Louie and Webby! I went to get them then slipped downstairs and met Scrooge by the door.

"Ow' do yeh stand 'im, lad?" Scrooge asked me in a thick Scottish accent.

"Patience, Uncle Scrooge. Patience." I said as we all walked out.

Time skippity~

Dewey's POV

UGH. How come it takes SOOooooooOOOOoooooOoo long to get placessssssssss Ughhhhhhh I feel half dead and i wanna sleep but i'm too excited WAIT WE'RE ALMOST THERE YAYYYYYY

(that's dew for ya ;3)

Louie's POV

'Why did I come here again?' I thought as we exited- never mind, more of parkoured out of  plane wreckage. There was a volcano looming in front of us and the prospect of climbing it successfully was fleeting. (*sings* Any hope of success is fleeting)

I glanced at my phone one last time before we began our ascent. Goodbye, Peridot.

(sry it's short it's a prologue don't hate me. Let's see who gets the 'success is fleeting' reference first!
