So the day it all began, right?
I was in the pantry with my guardian when I asked her "how does it feel to be the maid of a maid" I thought about it a little and continued "I mean being a slave is bad enough, but being a maid to another maid" I was exhaled dramatically "now that is just sad"
She smiled as she washed a plate and wiped it clean with a rag "at least you don't have to grow up to be like me" she
stacked the plate on the rest "you are going to become the royal hand maiden to the princess" she said with so much enthusiasm l felt sick
The position wasn't all that bad but the person I was supposed to serve. SHESH.
she is nothing but a prisoner with a crown. She isn't allowed to come out of her room right from birth till her wedding day and that's not the only sick thing about it, her life is hunted. like literally hunted. For no reason what so ever people find joy in killing her royal pain in the ass

So where was i? Oh yeah, I was busy running my mouth until Cassidy shut me up "you can complain all you want but as long as I am your ward your future is stamped" she threw the rag on the counter to prove her point "I don't want to hear any more complaining from you on this matter"
I groaned in objection "don't you get it. I don't want to become a maid" I walked to the curtains and dragged them apart so that the sunlight would fill the room "I want to explore. I want to become an explorer, I want to travel the nine worlds" I turn to look my ward in the eyes and gave her my most defeated face "is that too much to ask for"
Cassidy warned me several times but I kept on ranting " I want to dance with the stars In haven, I want to steal the dragon's flame from lactor, I want to play with gayle's ribbon thingy, I want to make a snowman in winner's realm, I want to pick roses from flora's enchanted bush, I want to race with demons in kreptie, I want to help karat count some of his gold and take some of course, I want to scare away raven's crows" I turned my body to face the old woman and crossed my arms over my chest "I don't want to stay all locked up in this stupid world , never get married, become some locked up bitch's servant" at this point, we were both yelling at each other "and I most especially want to end up like you" I screamed and of course the wrinkled old lady didn't fail to reciprocate
"I forbid you from bringing u this conversation again" she screeched like the monkey she is "you are my ward, you will stay in this palace, you will become the hand maiden of the princess and I won't here another word about this matter again" I was about to object but she shushed me before I could "to your room this instant and not another word"
I scowled at her and stormed out of the room. I ran to my room and locked the door so no one would see or hear me crying. I stared at the poster of Flora and Winter
I left the room after crying over the loss of my future freedom

I came out of my room to enter another one and trash it when I noticed a door I had never seen before and I did what any none year old would do
I entered it and get what I saw

A woman with sleek black hair, wearing a skin tight dress that showed off her perfect shape then she smiled at me exposing the perfect white pearly teeth
To sum it all up, the lady reeked of perfection and it made me feel so inferior but my inferiority was nothing compared to my curiosity. I walked up to the woman and she spoke "it is very nice to see you young mortal"
I was like did she call me a mortal?
"Who are you" I asked quietly
"I am your ticket out of here" she answered, I smiled at her cockiness "I heard you want an adventure" she wiggled her eyes at me which made me giggle, "so what do you say?"
I was tempted to accept but I thought of something "what about my guardian?" I said "she is going to flip if she finds me missing"
"I am not going to force you to come with me" she said gentle "I am just giving you a chance to achieve your heart's desire"
I smiled at the thought of it but there was only one more thing I had to clarify "who the hell are you and how are you going to get me out of here"
That's two things

She chuckled and raised her hand and I saw a tornado levitating above her palm. I was about to ask what it implied, then as if her read my mind she spoke "a tornado. All it does is cause trouble" she smirked "like me". Then it all clicked
I moved backward slowly and tried my best to speak without stammering "You are lady Neon" I said, trying to convince myself that I was not dreaming "You are the goddess of mischief, troubles and tribulation" my smile broadened "I am actually talking to the Lady neon"
She smiled at my response "Yes I am lady neon, now what do you say" she stretched her arms towards me gesturing for me to make my choice. I took a deep breath and did the most responsible thing to do
"You bet your ass i'm coming" I put my hand in her and she smiled at me
"Safe travel" she gave me that troublemaker smirk and watched her dissolve into a pile of sand
"What the fuc-" I watched the sand begin to swirl and rise and it became a tornado right before my eyes. It was sucking me in but I stood my ground. I began calling for help but I eventually became lightheaded "oh shit" I muttered before I was sucked into darkness
