The cold winter breeze did not contain the least bit of mercy as it blew hard, chilling the rushing people who walked hurriedly towards their destinations, each wanting to escape the harsh wind.

Clouds of a broken exhale fogged up before Seokjin, his lips chapped, cheeks flushed and rosy.

His complexion helped blend him in with the white background as he sat on one of the park benches, awaiting the results of what fate has bestowed upon him and how it would turn out.

As the first born son to the Alpha and Luna of the Silver Fang pack, he had been expected to carry on his fathers' legacy in the upcoming "Alpha-Olympics" as one of the strongest alphas in the whole world.

But luck was such, he compared it with a donkey everytime.

After hitting puberty, his shoulders had broadened drastically that the whole pack were sure he would become a great leader and maybe surpass his father in the games that were to take place next week.

Instead of making peace with their expectations, he had presented with a rank society looked down upon.

A rank considered as the lowest of the low when you were a male.

Kim Seokjin was an omega and he had little to absolutely no idea how the future would turn out for him.

Time passed agonizingly slow as he thought of the many possibilities this new found truth would affect himself and the people around him.

His mother and father would most definitely cut ties with him, seeing as they enjoyed taunting the weak.

Sometimes he wondered if they really were his birth parents.

Shaking his head at the thought, his mind began to wander as his brown orbs focused on the slightly frozen street.

His wolf, RJ had whimpered, apologizing to the male as it too read his thoughts of concern.

"I'm sorry, Seokjin-ah. If it wasn't for me being your wolf, you would have made an excellent alpha. Way better than your ruthless parents" it spoke. Seokjin frowned, completely disagreeing with what his wolf had said to him.

"It's alright, RJ. No one asks to be what they present. The only thing we can do is make empty wishes, hoping that one day it will all be magically fulfilled.

Yes, we may have presented as omegas but that alone is not our fault. The status of our werewolf hierarchy comes naturally. It is not something that can be given through achievements.

Earlier in the day, when he went out for a morning jog, his whole body began to ache so much he couldn't help but stop right in the middle of his pack, grabbing the attention of all those around him who eagerly awaited the words his wolf would say to him, finalising his place in society.

It took a while for the pain to subside, his people watching with wide and determined eyes, so sure that the only son of their current pack leaders would present as an alpha.

But in that moment, his very soul tensed at the timid voice of RJ in his mind.

"O-Omega"

Seokjin froze, the sound of his thumping heart echoing loud in his senstive ears.

RJ whimpered, his spiritual form curling up in the corner of Seokjin's mind, begging for forgiveness whilst blaming itself.

The pack were staring, eyes ablaze with a flame that drove to either wholeheartedly support and lift their future leader if he presented as alpha, or to completely destroy his very existence if he were anything else but.

After a few shaky breaths, Seokjin inhaled and consoled his wolf in a loving voice, not a trace of blame present.

Turning his handsome and ethereal face towards the crowd gathered, he smiled and gave his signature eye wink causing the pack to brighten up as they waited for his next words.

"Looks like I'm an Alpha after all" he spoke out loud, a prideful aura surrounding him.

The pack cheered and some transformed, howling as they all nudged Seokjin to congratulate him.

That was the first lie he'd told since taking the blame of breaking his mother's favourite jar seeing as she was beating a poor omega who had no relation to the incident.

He never liked lying and only did it when he needed to.

This was a situation in which Seokjin would have to carefully construct a web of lies to help make it out of the predicament he found himself in.

Silently, he sniggered to himself.

"An omega competing against alpha's? I'd like to see how this turns out" he mused internally, a light sigh escaping as he thought of the only person who'd be able to help him out.

'I can't believe I have to look for that walking disaster. This is going to be painful'
