Jaz 'Pov'
*The next morning*
I wake up, go to the bathroom and do my morning necessities.
After that, I go downstairs and grab a granola bar.
Just when I was about to escape to the garage.
"Hello honey how was your date yesterday?" My mom asks.
"It was fine mom and it wasn't a date" I say frustrated.
"What did you guys do??" Mom asks ignoring my statement.
"Nothing much just went to get ice cream etc, bye mom I gotta go." I rush out.
"Hi sis where are you going so soon, it's only 7 o'clock." Zach says.
And know that my school starts at 9.
"Uhm I was trying to avoid you, but that didn't work out now did it?!" I murmur.
"What was that?"
"Nothing I have an assignment." I lie.
"I'll give you a ride wait up." Zach says.
"No it's fine you don't have to." I rush out.
"Don't be silly it'll be my pleasure." Zach smirks.
"Aren't you guys just so sweet" Mom says staring at us.
'If only she knew' I thought.
*In the car*
"So sis did you sleep well?" Zach asks.
"Yeah" I mumble looking out the window ignoring his gaze.
"You're dressed nice today, is there a special occasion?" Zach asks.
"No, my clothes are just like every other day" I rush out nervously.
************
*earlier that morning*
Flashback
"Omg what am I going to wear." I scream while searching through my scattered around clothes.
"I should wear something nice, maybe I should wear this dress or maybe it's too obvious, should I wear make up, no they'll all suspect something, I should go with these simple shorts no then Jay'll think I don't make any effort, why do I even care what he thinks?!"
"Ugggghhhh" I yell in frustration.
End flashback

'If only he knew how much time I spent on my clothes' I thought.
"Mhmmm." He mumbles.
"So sis what happened yesterday?" Zach asks.
"I don't want to talk about it, just let it go." I tell him.
(Let it goooo let it gooooo🎼)
"Sis I'm worried about you he's my best friend, but I know him, he's still a man whore." Zach says.
"Don't worry about me, I'll never fall for him." I say.
But if only I knew.
And then we see something really strange, it's like a dog but bigger and it crashes into our windshield and keeps on running away.
Zach steps on the brakes and stops the car.
We go screeching around and stop right in front a tree.
"What the actual fuck was that?!" I say out of breath.
"I don't know, maybe it was just a deer or something." Zach says looking around cautious.
He starts the car and we drive to school in total silence.
When we get to school I walk straight to my locker to get my stuff.
I turn around and start walking in the direction of my first class.
I bump into someone on my way there.
"Sorry." I mumble.
"Seriously, Jaz it's me." Melissa says.
"Oww sorry Mel I didn't see you there." I mumble.
"Are you okay, you seem kind off distracted." Melissa says.
"Yeah I'm fine." I say.
I walk past her and go to my class.
I am very relieved that I didn't bump Jay today or it would've been awkward.
I go home after school and take a long bath and go back downstairs to eat.
No one is home yet so I warm up an oven pizza.
After a couple of minutes, I grab the pizza and eat it.
I go up to my room and do my homework.
*Ding dong*
I walk downstairs to open the door.
"Hii how can I help you?" I ask.
I don't even look up yet to see who's in front of me.
"Hii beautiful, were you ignoring me today?" Jay says.
"Hii Jay, no I-I wasn't ignoring you, I j-ust didn't see you today?!" I stutter.
"Ohh really, I think you saw me in the cafeteria when you came in, but when you saw me you went right back out the door." Jay says.
"No it's just well uhmm...never mind what do you want?" I say annoyed.
"Well I am here for your brother but he's not here so I'm going to wait for him....in your house." Jay says in a mocking voice.
"No no no, you're going to wait in your car." I tell him.
I was just about to close the door but he already slipped in.
Muahahahahha I'm so evil I know another cliffhanger so sorry what do you think will happen it's totally going to be good betweent those 2 if you know what I mean *raising eyebrows smirking face*
