A few months later...

Chaeri's P.O.V
Today's back to Monday.. *sigh* School and school and school...

After I take a bath and wore my uniform, I walked inside Taeyong's room.

"TAEYONG!! WAKE UP!! IT'S MONDAY!!" I shouted at the top of my lungs.

"5 more mins please.." He said as he covered his face using his blanket.

"Okay, fine.. I'M GOING BY MYSELF! WISH YOU A PUNISHMENT SLEEPYHEAD!!" I walked outside, banging the door. I took my bag and key car, then drove to school.

"Hi, Chaeri!" Inhye came and hugged me.

"Hi!" Jiein and Kaeha came.

Soon, Yanan and his gang pass by.

"Hi pretty girls!" He winked at us. I only smiled at him, and the 3 girls were like screaming. I don't know why they like it, but I'm truly disgusted.

Then, I bumped into someone who's walking behind and he dropped his notebook.

"JAEM-" I was about to call his name, but the girls stopped him.

"Don't call his name. It's useless." Kaeha warned me.

"O-okay.. But why?" I tried to ask.

"You don't want to know." They said, then left. I was left behind...

I decided to walk inside the class by myself.

"Chaeri-ssi, do you understand this question?" Joy asked. She sat across me. I walked towards her table and starts explaining. Soon, more students came to hear my explanation.

"Excuse me, but this is my seat. Shoo!" Jiein said, shooing Yein who's sitting at her place.

"Chaeri, let me tell you. You shouldn't hang out with them. You and them, different levels." Inhye said as I remained silent.

I sat back to my place and wrote on a piece of paper.

"Let's meet at the school's library after school! I'll explain further. You can bring your friends along!"

I passed the paper to Joy, then she read it. She gave me an 'ok' sign and the teacher walked inside the class.

"Chaeri, wanna join us for lunch?" Kaeha asked.

"Um, no thanks." I smiled bitterly.

"Ugh, no fun.." I heard Jiein groaned silently.

"Okay then, see you at Chemistry!" They walked away.

I felt a vibrate in my pocket and it was my phone. The guys are texting me.

Eunnie : Hey, how's SOPA?
Donghyuck : Nice so far?
Chaeri : yeah..
Mark : You sounded unhappy.
Mark : Anything wrong?
Chaeri : Nothing.. It's just... I'm hoping that you guys could be here too...
Chaeyeon : Aww... We should visit you sometime.
Mingyu : But it's still the first week of real school
Chaeri : 😂😂
Chaeri : What are you guys doing right now?
Chaeyeon : PE
Eunnie : And its dodgeball..
Mingyu : Eyy, we're pretty good at it.
Donghyuck : Yea, we're unbeatable.
Mark : How about you Chaeri?
Chaeri : Me? Lunch.
Mark : Ohh..
Chaeyeon : Coach is calling us. Bye!! Good luck on your first day Chaeri!
Chaeri : Ne! Hwaiting!

After lunch's over, I head to Chemistry.

"Class, I know that it's still the 1st day of the month, but I'm here to give you a project." Ms. Yerry said as the whole class groaned. I remained silent and keep on writing stuff in my notebook.

She began to list the partners for the project and my name was the last to mention, the same goes to Jaemin. Meaning, we're partners.

I was actually happy that I won't be in the same group as the girls. But I'm also afraid to be called an outcast. AHH CHAERI!! NO BAD THOUGHTS! It's fine, I still have my friends back at Hanlim :))

(TIME SKIP --> after school at the library)

Joy showed up with lots of her friends. I guess she must be a social butterfly :))

"Hey, Chaeri! Do you mind me bringing so many friends?" Joy asked.

"Gwaenchanha." I smiled at her.

I saw Jaemin coming inside the library, but I pretended not to know.

After the little study we had, I went around to find the material for my Chemistry Project. After founding some books and borrowed it, I went back to my spot before to take my bag. Jaemin isn't sitting at his seat anymore. Probably he left, who knows? I took my bag and went out of the library.

At home, I decided to text my Hanlim friends.

Chaeri : Guys, bogoshipda~~ㅠㅠ
Mingyu : We tooㅠㅠㅠ
Chaeyeon : Me and Eunnie have an idea, so we can meet each other every day.
Eunnie : Let's buy an apartment for the 6 of us.
Donghyuck : Hey! Such a great idea!
Mark : Why we never think of this before😮
Chaeri : Hahaha. Wanna start searching tomorrow?
Eunnie : I'm in.
Mark : Everybody's in
Chaeri : Right! Tomorrow, after school. I'll meet you guys in front of Hanlim.
Donghyuck : Copy that sir!
Chaeyeon : You mean ma'am?
Donghyuck : Right😂😂

Jaemin's P.O.V
I went home late because I was in the library, reading my book.

When I opened the door, I was greeted by a slap from my drunk dad.

"Where have you been?' My dad asked. I remained silent.

"WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!" He shouted. I still remained silent. He slapped me again.

"You don't have a mouth, do you? Don't ever open it then. I'm wishing not to see your face, forever." He said. I walked upstairs into my room. I looked up in  the mirror and saw my face. It has bruises and my lips were bleeding.

I'm used to things like that. I'm afraid, yes I am. My mom isn't home, because she went to auntie's house. Since my grandma died, I have no one to protect me. That's why I sorta keep things to myself. My ex-girlfriend? She's no use... All she can do is begging me to buy her things.

I can't trust anyone.
