I apologize for how poorly written this first chapter is, please bear with me to the second chapter and then on. It gets so much better.
The plane touched down in the early afternoon and as the pair descended they realized just how beautiful Hawaii truly was this time of year.
Michael's assumption had proven true.
After making their way through the airport and collecting their luggage, they exited the building in search of their transportation. Luke had previously arranged for a driver to pick them up and take them to their hotel, it was easier than struggling for a cab. Which dozens of tourists were already doing.
"What's the guy look like?" Michael questioned, dragging his bag along behind him.
Luke sighed, "I don't know, Michael. He said he'd have a sign. Look for it."
It took twenty minutes to find the man. Having to weave in and out of the clustered crowd. He was a short, stocky man whom held a small sign reading "Mr. & Mr. Hemmings.
"Mister and Mister? Luke, we aren't married." Michael added, rolling his eyes dramatically.
Luke offered a nervous laugh and packed their luggage into the trunk of the van. They hadn't brought much. Mostly because they didn't own very much. Material things were never what it was about, they had each other and that was all that mattered. Its all that ever mattered.
The hotel was extraordinary. It stood fourteen floors high, white in color, with palm trees adnoring the outside garden.
Michael knew Luke would go above and beyond. Especially after the previous occurances during their time in Vegas.
Luke had rented out the penthouse on the top floor. It was phenomenal. Upon entering, Michael dropped his bags and squealed, a habit he had recently picked up. And ran through the suite, studying every aspect. There was a lounge, a kitchen, a master bathroom, and a bedroom. The bed was fit for a king, the bathroom had its own Jacuzzi.
"Luke... This is too much," Michael stated, shaking his head for added effect.
Luke laughed, wrapping his arms around the boy, "Its all for you, baby. Anything for you."
A wide smile spread across Michael's face, his eyes lighting up. Shining a perfect shade of emerald green.
'Thank you, so so much, Luke. For everything. God, I love you so much."
Michael's eyes brimmed with tears.
Luke was perfect.
Luke was everything.
"I love you too, Mikey. More than anything."
